Yo, that Citadel explosion looks REALLY good. I had to go back and check Episode 1's ending to see if the modder took it from there, nope! Looks custom and way better than what Valve did in Ep1.
The Citadel exploding is actually a VALVe asset in the Episode 1 files. It's made up of multiple parts that I guess were to make the pre-calculated physics work a little better. Dunno why they cut it, but I'm guessing it was because of performance issues or VALVe still figuring out how to do pre-calculated physics.
When you did that sequence, I was all "Ok, this is going too smoothly, how's he gonna fuck it up?" and I honestly thought it was gonna be right after you too the underslung to the face.

that initial section with all the combine props placed like that combined with the fact that I just finished watching someone do a gmod adventure map save made me constantly second guess what I was seeing. "wait you can do that with vanilla gmod oh wait no nvm"

I always find it incredibly funny screaming "don't shoot me" while getting showered with bullets... At least until it's about videogames. Reality, lately, is waaaaaaaay more grim on this subject.
I dont think jolly understands how combine zombies work. After a certain amount of damage they take from the player, they go “fuck it” and pull a grenade out.
