Actually it is more like good players do not want to stick around fnatic. Maybe the organisation is bad or the lunatic fans. Either way there is a reason both Caps and Rekkles left on free will even when fnatic threw fat moneybags and even part ownership contracts after them. Let's look at the facts...
FNC: 2018 spring and summer (playoffs and normal)
FNC: 2017: Summer
G2 is the better team in the past 2 years, but saying that it was never close since G2 joined LEC is just wrong. FNC had a period, when they were stronger than G2.
And even though G2 won most of the games convincing, they still lost games (or even a series) to FNC.^^ Don't get me wrong - G2 is better, but saying that it was never close is just wrong.

G2 qualified for EULCS in 2016, and since 2016 they have won 8/10 trophies in EULCS/LEC + an MSI trophy. The other 2 trophies throughout G2's WHOLE history were taken by FNC. There is no argument here.

And that is clearly wrong. You also said that there was actually a point in time,when FNC was better.
What you are saying is that overall G2 was far better than FNC. And here you are right and I already agreed with you. But saying that it was NEVER close is wrong. At least if you use the normal definition of "never".^^

@@doomse150 Easy man. Perkz was top level if not the best ADC in 2019. True that 2020 wasn't good for him but we have to remember that he is midlaner at heart. I'm also a bit worried how Rekkles will fit in G2 but have high hopes for them.
@@DawidSoltysik He got outclassed by half of EU if he had to play actual Marksman Champs, what are you talking about? He got carried by his team most of the time. I distinctly remember him getting caught over and over again by engage supports because he wasnt able to play those lanes. Not as bad as Caps in his one split, but he definitely had similar issues that a main ADC almost never has. Even less one who has the caliber of a Rekkles.
And what kind of excuse is "Midlaner at heart"? Then dont start playing another role if you're not committed to it. Everyone can start playing botlane when Mages and similar stuff are suddenly valid options. Even Bwipo roleswapoed bot during the no marksman meta of 2018 summer and bested everyone down there. But that doesnt make him a good ADC all of a sudden because he wasnt playing ADC Champs. And when the meta ahifted back towards ADCs, Perks fell short of most of the top EU ADCs not even talking about international competition. He just had the better team to cover him up most of the time

He destroyed every bot lane whole year long, even UZI. But you probably have no idea who he is, for you he's just some chiness washed up player cuz for you player is only as good as his last split. Rekkles was the best adc at worlds this year. Perkz wasn't second. Granted, the meta suited Rekkles better, but if you're trying to suggest that Rekkles is washed after the tournament he just had, you're fooling yourself.
@OMEGA LOL Rekkles is easily one of the best ADC's in the world. I will forever have a soft spot for my boy Perkz, but as far as adc skill goes, rekkles easily trumps him.
