@@deathbydolphin5931 yeah, but I feel other players inted way more. Wunder and Jankos literrly were missing from the game basically and caps was like a coin toss. At the very least, Rekkles still is that guy who manages to perform at the same level for the most part

@Taylor Peay It's clear the loss of Perkz was a bigger one than expected though. Not in terms of adc skills but rather in leadership. G2 needs to find a new leading voice and that takes time to grow when no one in the team are used to do it the same way Perkz did it. So yeah in G2 standards it was disappointing true, but considering the context I think a 3rd place is pretty good. Especially when the rest of the LEC has finally started to step up the competition.

The edit is so freaking sick , i got goosebumps, but the timing makes this incredibly awkward lol.
The production quality of this video is absolutely insane. Has a cohesive retro-game neon aesthetic, stylish in every aspect, amazing editing for visuals and sounds, picks good clips, and super creative as well. Just amazing.
Rekkles 100% deserves this, I’m not a G2 fan, but I am a Rekkles fan.

This was bittersweet af. Rekkles deserved it but he also deserved a team to take him to the finals at least. Really bummed for him and all I can do is hope they get it together for summer.

I’m a diehard G2 fangirl, but even I can admit when the team is just playing badly. 😢 which sucks because they knew Rekkles intentions of joining he team were to win and couldn’t get it together to help him lift the LEC trophy. But of course, I know his mentality and goal is to win worlds, so I can only hope they are getting serious and we will see them back in action in summer.

@@th3revo1uti0nzZz No he isn't, Caps for sure and Wunder arguably are better. Being consistent and not dying isn't enough, sometimes you have to go for the agresive, "I need to make a big outplay and put the team on my back play" and he simply can't do that right now. He is the best secondary carry and will not randomly int leads away like Caps or Wunder, but he doesn't seem to be confortable when he is put in a position where he's the only one can carry.
tldr. Rekkles is amazing when his team is winning or close to even but underwhelming when they are losing. He can't be a solo 1v9 hypercarry right now.
Love you Rekkles! Might you have lost spring split, but summer split and worlds are still on, I believe in G2 and mostly in you!

The G2 this split is more individual oriented and they went for hypercarry either for caps or rekkles
Making Wunder be ass cheeks on worse champs
The G2 from old had the triple threat comps so either PERKZ, CAPS or WUNDER could carry from any lane but now they have totally abandoned that playstyle
Plus now we all know what PERKZ brought to the table for G2
Remember he sacrificed his own lane to CAPS in order to have this massive powerhouse of a team who could challenge any team across the world
But now it doesn't feel the same with the new iteration of G2
Maybe in summer G2 bounce back tho yeah we are at an end of a era pretty much
@@Sivzram True, except Rekkles didn't once play hypercarries if I remember correctly, he never played Jinx, Aphelios or even Xayah and mostly picked supportive champs like Senna or Jhin. He even said that he wasn't confortable picking Kai'sa until later down the split.

The fact they went for JHIN most of the series for REKKLESS boggles my mind
While Yes his Jhin is solid but he can't hypercarry like a JINX, TRIST etc
Not to mention CAPS crapping even tho he had comfortable matchups especially the Sylas
@@Sivzram Trist was banned for Caps I think. This series was mostly won through draft and Jankos having a really bad series. You have Wunder who is probably, along with Bwipo, the only EU top laner who can play carry tops and you give him Karma 2 times and Gnar, especially after you saw in game 1 how huge he was on Urgot even after he was camped.
This honestly the coolest thing ever!! Rekkles you are amazing and honestly LCK just drafst way better than Europe! Hate to see it. You will bring the RING home oneday!

Because G2 also lost to MAD so it's clearly G2's weakness.
