Recently I played blackjack at Marriott casino in Warsaw, I doubled for 11 and Ace came, the dealer took 6 cards and lost,it was a miracle, the rules do not always work,in another casino in Warsaw I had 5 blackjacks in a row, then two hands some small cards and two more blackjacks.
that‘s just lucky then. As stated in the videoc you cannot beat the casino on basic strategy alone, you need cart counting. The game is designed to favor the dealer, so you need to know when the odds for a winning card are hight. Imagine a lottery with 50 winner and 50 loser tickets in a box. Now people take one ticket after another out of the box. With each loser ticket that is drawn the chance that the noxt person draws a winner is rising as the proportion of winner to loser tockets is tilting towards one side. Instead of 50/50 you now have 25/10. Obviously the chance to pull one of the 25 remaining winner tickets is way higher than to pull one of the 10 losers now. Card counting essentially means that you keep track of the tickets that are taling out of the box. This way you can determin the chance of a favourable card being drawn next and thus you can adjust your bets to these chances (low chances->minimum bet, high chances(close to maximum bet) Now you still will have times when you are just unlucky and lose a good hand. Even a 99.9% chancd means that at some point you would lose a hand. The point of card counting is that you win and lose at times, but over a long period of time you‘ll always make profit (because that is how statistics work) and thus you will certainly beat the casino

The rules are based on probabilities. Of course they don’t always work: that’s why they’re probabilities and not certainties. Nothing “always works” in any card game.. that said, I’d rather have the math on my side than against it
Yes it does but i think people didn't wanted to make it super complicated so they stood with 1 chart. You should learn this and then the card counting its the best strat combined

Yes. However basic strategy has several variables based on how many decks are in the shoe and how many players are on the table. So by learning to count it will help you learn which variable to use. How ever it's not a must
You can’t “beat the casino with basic strategy” as your intro states. Fast forward just a bit and you will discover the casino still has the advantage. Either learn to count cards or accept that you are paying their mortgage
I'm trying to find the best way to learn strategy + deviations do you where I can go or are you just a keyboard warrior? This is not sarcastic but actually a serious question
Ey wassup. I just realised that the sheet he is using is a bit different from mine (I use one the one from blackjack apprenticeship) ...is this something to be concerned about? I only recently got into blackjack...
You can slightly make the odds in your favor by counting, but casinos are also looking for people who are doing that very thing and could ask you to leave, somehow negate your edge (using less decks, etc), or you can still very easily lose outright. The way i look at it is that people gambling is paying for the casino to own and maintain the property, pay every dealer and other employee and expense so i don't look at anything there as a reliable way of making money
@@qwerty52676using less decks is actually better for you because it makes counting easier. What they usually do is that they either ask to to leave, tell you that you can‘t play Blackjack anymore, shuffle the deck more often or they set a fixed bet limit (because counting cards really only tells you when your odds are high/low, you need to adjust your betting strategy to it, but when you can‘t change your bet size anymore you‘re screwed)
doesn't work or real blackjack, only the simulator one, the chances are inverted you don't have 42% but 48%, unfortunately, which is why you always win if you play mobile game but very very hardly on real ones

Perfect tutorial video. Great teacher! Thank you for your work
This was so helpful and I loved the format and way you described basic strategy
Hey I’m new to black jack and this video is really interesting thanks for the content!

Doesn't getting to 16 on 4 cards as opposed to your first 2 change the odds to a stand in that situation?

great explanation very straight forward
Very easy to follow, thank you
So this what count the card look like🎉it work too thanks 👍
can you still win at a good rate just by following the card strategy chart? and not counting cards?
i think it’s still good to know how to count cards

whats the website youre playing on tho
How about the dealer shows #9Card and my hand is
“16 Cardpoints; Do I need to hit?..
Can I get your chart? because most charts have little differences so...
Is it legal to bring this sheet if you play black jack in casino?
I was at encore and the guy next to meet had a small card with basic strategy right on the table and it didn’t seem to be a problem
I've been asked to put it away but they won't throw you out for it
you can ask the dealer or the general staff there for a basic strategy card most casinos hand them out
My buddy stood there in a trance when he got two aces, everyone even the dealer told him split, got two blackjacks aftera
Does everything in this video (the chart strategy) apply to Video Blackjack as well? (except for any references to card counting of course)?
at 4:03 that was the wrong move given that there were more high cards than low cards in the dealers hand
17 vs 4? Always stay on hard 17+. It was definitely a stay and hitting on a 16 on a 10 sucks but is the right move too, what are you talking about?

Well explained
Learning that strategy so i can gamble in GTA V to get some money easy 😂
what does the 4,4 and 7,7 for example even mean?
Those are your hand you have two of the same cards
Basic strategy varies depending on the rules of the game.
Then find a table that uses the rules that you've studied
now mix in a running count with basic strat and you're on your way to beating the casino ;) running count is very important
Do you have a link where I can download the basic strategy chart?
Take a screenshot

I don't like this chart because it doesn't suggest doubling down your 11 against an Ace.
You double on 11 against an Ace only against a single deck.
