10:40 Steve says he learned the Card Counting method and practiced it in the Casinos for 5 years with a $10-50 spread. Question: was this spread amount enough to require the Pit Boss you ask you to either Flat Bet the entire shoe or find another game? What would happen if you did that today?
that was WAY back in the day (when I was still a small child). But the reason he used a small spread was to avoid getting kicked out. I just asked him and he said "I never got kicked out but I was a chicken. Several times I saw them watching me and pick up the phone to call up stairs and I would just leave to avoid a confrontation."

8:20 0.64% loss rate with 6 decks of cards, dealer hits soft 17 and you're allowed to double after a split. For every $100 you bet, your losses will be 0.64 cents. For every $1,000 you bet, your losses will be $6.40.
What is the house advantage with a 6-deck, 1.5 deck penetration, allows double after splits, no surrender, where the dealer stands on soft 17, playing perfect basic strategy? I would assume it's between 0.25 -to- 0.50?
According to the house edge calculator from Wizard of odds, the house edge on that would be around 0.42% If you want to play around with it, its a great tool: wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/calculator/
No, he says zero point two zero percent which is 0.20. Also our calculation was for not being allowed to resplit aces as we have witnessed that to be a pretty rare rule
I had to google that to see what it was. That is just another progressive betting system and we do not recommend those. They don't change the house edge, they only raise the volatility. I didn't read up much but that one doesn't seem TOO aggressive, so as long as you're having fun with it that's really all that matters.

not that i know of. There are strategy charts that come folded up and have 4-6 different ones on them. You would not want to use something like what you described because the laws for cheating in a casino are rather vague and just say using a device to assist. So if a casino got annoyed you could have a real bad time.

The casino advantage in video blackjack games is the same as at a live blackjack table. It is all dependent on the number of decks used and the rules of the game.
Yes, these rules apply to digital games as well as live games. Just make sure that you are using a strategy chart that applies to the rules of the specific game you are playing
In vegas a couple of months ago, at a $5 table, an elderly man was playing $100 a hand. He split 10s four times. Everyone at the table was freaking out. He just got angry and annoyed. And he WON every single hand. Nuff said......
It doesn’t matter whether he won every hand. What matters is if it was a mathematically correct decision which it very well could have been. If he makes that play without using a decent card counting strategy he will lose his shirt in the lon
Yes, as long as the rules from the game match the rules for the strategy chart you are using. Plus, you generally get comps easier on machines than on real tables as well so in most cases you would get better comps playing at the same level on the digital tables than you would on the real tables
It has been our experience that casinos will allow you to use the chart at the table as long as you don't slow down the game. However, it is possible that some casinos may ask you to put it away.
I know you guys prefer video poker, but do you still play blackjack as well without counting cards? Like you, I started to learn to count just to see if it worked and have counted for a couple years now, with very low spreads, but I’ve found it very hard to not count. It’s second nature at this point.
Steve here - I stopped playing blackjack about five years ago and switched to video poker. The comps are much better and you didn't have to worry about getting banned from a casino. As a recreational gambler, it's not too hard to play a near-break-even game and take advantage of the comps. Although, it's not as easy as it used to be as casino always seem to be tightening up their pay schedules and cutting back on comps. However. it's still much, much better than playing slots, as the vast majority of gamblers do.
If youre allowed to, whats your thoughts on online casino promotions? Most beginners including me arent aware initially that you have to rollover like 25x your deposit and each game only counts for a small percentage. I didnt know this. I turned $24 into $120 and found out I couldn't check out. Knowing that the house wins in the long run then technically the promotions are somewhat a scam.
We are familiar with online casino promotions as we have another website where we have about 15 offers that you can try for free without having to make a deposit, or give any credit card information - www.americancasinobonuses.com It is always a good idea to read the terms and conditions before playing on any free spins, or free credit offers. I am quite sure you understand that the casinos are not going to make it easy for players to come and get free money and then cash it out. That is why it is important to read the terms and conditions to make sure you comply with them in order to be able to cash out. Usually, the casinos will require that you play on slot machines and never on any table games or video poker. The reason is because the casino advantage is much higher on slots. Also, there is usually a requirement that the entire amount must be played through the machines several times. This makes it much more difficult to cash out as a winner, but it can be done. And, there will also be a maximum amount that can be cashed out. So, understandably, very few people will cash out as winners, but everyone will be able to play for free and have some fun at no cost to them. And, unlike social casinos, where anything you win has absolutely zero value, with our free casino offers you do have the opportunity to walk away with some actual cash winnings!

Well since that plays a little different than traditional Blackjack since the dealer doesn't check for a blackjack until AFTER players have made their decisions the strategy is a little different. I'm not extremely well versed with it but I BELIEVE the only difference is you don't double or split against a 10 or A since you can still lose both bets if dealer has a blackjack.

Thw casino is made to take our money.. My question is why would the casino allow a person to bring a basic strategy chart to the table with them if it helps lower their edge? Sundaes basic strategy really even work, or it's all a mental game the casino is playing. Perfect basic strategy still gets you killed in the casino.
Even though the basic strategy chart lowers the edge, it still helps the casino make money because it makes more people want to play the game and the casino makes extra money by selling the chart. Plus, why wouldn’t they allow people to use the chart? Even with the chart, the casino has the edge. If they let these chart users stay, the casinos make a little money. If they kick them out, they make no money.
There's only 1 issue with basic strategy. It doesn't account for the cards that have been played. Basic strategy is the strategy for 52 cards, or 104 cards. Halfway through the shoe, the strategy can change. You must create your own personal strategy chart.
OK, here you go - money management will do nothing to overcome the casino's advantage in a negative expectation game. So, you can't use a money management system to beat blackjack. You would still need to learn card counting to become a long-term winner.
What’s the point to play blackjack just to use a basic strategy? And get a free food. Either you play professionally ( count cards) either don’t touch it at all.
Super low house edge applies to 3-2 Blackjack games!
Strategy at a 6-5 Blackjack table is to walk to a 3-2 table
