I'm a stay at home dad, I've always loved art, I still do graffiti till this very day, I've tattooed my mom,my friends, never thought about doing it as a career, thank you Brandon for helping me carve my own path.
@minksmisses yea I'm still going, no longer a stay at home daddy lol I work construction so I don't tattoo as much as I'd like but I can do lettering and my shading is so much better still learning how to properly blend and what colors go where. 🤘
I've learned a lot from Brandon and I can't return the favor. I've always wanted to do tattoos but couldn't find an apprenticeship from where I'm from. So thanks guys for your knowledge and helping people. Much appreciated 🤙
I'm a self-taught tattoo artist. I have watched a lot of your videos for my training. My favorite is the hogwarts hat. I love Harry Potter shit. What program are you using in this video?
I bought the sketchbook of your website… is it an actual physical book or download? Because I’ve bought it and not received any acknowledgment other than receipt
Is this cheating? I was hoping this would be a tutorial on how to shade or figuring out where to shade, without having access to this app or whatever. Light sources, how to actually shade with a tattoo needle etc… Still have been loving all of your videos btw.
Part of what ticks me off about tattooing now is that it's about the money. To get the money you make this beautiful art but tattooing is not about art. Tattoo is an art. I'm seeing lots of art but not the practice of the art. So, while I love the sinner I absolutely hate how sin has polluted this dying art form.
What are you saying? Have you tattooed before? It’s definitely an art just as much as drawing and painting etc.. tattoo artists especially if they’re good need to be paid good money for their talent and skill seeing the quality of tattoos today as opposed to 30 plus years ago is mind blowing.

Art is too personal for computer. It lacks a craftsmen's touch. The computer is now the craftsmen you are just telling it what to do. You tattoo lacks craft. It's just a poster. Or a photo. There is a man before god is what I'm saying.
Digital art doesn't magically make you better at art 😂 if your traditional art is bad, you digital pieces are going to be the same way. It does help you save time tho, like you can actually erase mistakes and create effects that would be much more complicated on a piece of paper. Digital art can be as rough looking or crispy clean as you want it to be, and it won't make it less personal because of it. In his case, he's a tattoo artist, and the traditional American style needs a clean design like that to actually be used for tattooing.
Also, there's nothing wrong with using tools to save some time on the designs. In the end, he's going to make the shading by hand on someone's skin anyway.
Yes there’s a module on procreate and another on photoshop. Both helpful. Though you can learn a lot about procreate and in more detail just on RUclips

I’ve had so many people explain the selector tool. You’re the only one that I actually understood. Thanks man
Love this channel so much. Basically giving people more info than most apprenticeships

My mission is perfect lines. If I'm shading it's to cover up. If I'm highlighting that shit bangs.
