    Dude! Hands down the THE best shading tutorial on the net. Even better imo than those costly tattoo courses "taught by world class tattoo artist". I LOVE how you explained what, when, and how you'll best use these shading techniques for. Most ppl just say "ok I'm doing this pendulum stoke here", but never say why they are doing that

    Finally! In the german tattoo community they usually make a big secret out of the techniques.. Mostly telling you to become an apprentice to an artist. - Which is easier said than done over here.

    thank you for this terrific video, i hope you make another to talk about how you set up your ink.. and also how you do to blend in the outlining within the shading process, so that it wouldn't appear later, i mean to look rather closer to realistic.. thank you in advance

    • @giuseppeg3672
      @giuseppeg3672 2 года назад +1

      If you're talking about realism I don't think realism tattoos use heavy lines it's just different tones, one of the reasons it's so hard. Humans aren't made up of hard lines just contrasting shadows.

    I don't know if you do this, but I see a lot of people using mags as almost liners. For highlighting leaves & stuff like that. Giving like a 5-7 line accent to the design. I haven't seen anyone teaching this either. Just a thought, hope all is well. Thanks for the tips.

    • @Tattooing101
      @Tattooing101  2 года назад

      Thats a great question, and i have done it and know artist that still do it but I personally just choose to use a round shader or a bigger liner for areas like that. But I will definitely make a video about it to help out.
