I'm just finishing high school and in a few weeks I'm moving into my own apartment. So excited to build my real studio and work as much as I can..... Woooow, can't wait to start the adventure!
If you really want this, don’t start dating anyone.
Im starting my journey as a freelance producer and engineer. The amount of VALUABLE information I've received from your channel is unbelievable. A lot of what I already do, which gives me reassurance that I shouldn't doubt my abilities... and a lot of new information as well that gets me excited to learn and gain even more experience. I truly thank you!

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate this ❤️
Tip 10 is golden…. I found that this is the case for me. Don’t finish in a day? The percentage of me completing it goes down with each day that passes. Thanks Austin!
Yesss! it's SO essential for having finished songs, not just little clips
💯🔊
An organized workflow is EVERYTHING.
There are few to none videos of this type out there, this worth gold. It took him probably years to mature his own workflow and now he’s sharing all this with us. Thanks!
The last tip truly works like magic!
Thank you so much for the cool tips Austin! You are a great teacher 🙏
great video man, much love
Great tips! Thanks, Austin!
This came at a great time. Starting to get more clients/projects and realized I’m so inefficient with my projects. I didn’t realize my frustrations could be lessened if I improved my workflow. Thank you! ❤
ohh myyy, I'm early again this time. Great tips Austin as always! I truly believe having some templates do help with the workflow instead of taking time to route everything 1 by 1.
Really cool stuff man thanks
You channel has been extremely useful to me. Thanks for the knowledge and passion you put into videos, I can really see the hard work behind every video you post. You inspired me to fix my schedule and organize my project, and as a messy person I know for sure it will make a huge difference in my growth. Good content as always
THE BEST music production chanel 👌
Thanks for helping us fellow producers. I've learned so much from you. Thanks
Great vid once again!
That was super helpfull!
Thank you for inspiration!! :)
zero friggin' fluff!
excellent content.
thank you.
This guy is truly talented and so easy to watch I'm kinda of old school and catching up with the new music production techniques. learning a lot from his tutorials. thanks, Austin
Great advice! 🎉
Great vid! Thank you.
This was helpful especiallty the last tip, very real and could sort alot of issues with producers who create tons of ideas
Thanks for sharing ❤️🙏
# 11 Cubase is the best modern tool to be fast and creative, you dont need thirdparty plugins at first in the arrange phase - learn to use this great tool! Halion SE comes with great pianos, strings, synths, Groove Agent drummer, Retrologue and Padshop are also wonderful HiEnd synths and use the very fast SamplerTrack! to arrange and compose! ❤
Great content, these are the things that make good work preparation. Please keep making this kind of content! Greetings from Holland
This is such a valuable video 😭
This is super important tips, thank you.
I will try organize the whole track structure at the beginning, I think it is very smart.
thanks ❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Please do your full studio walkthrough video.
I have one but a lot has changed honestly. Maybe once I upgrade my monitors I will!
@@MakePopMusic YESS! Make it soon. Eagerly waiting.
1. learn your tools
2.set space
3.use templates
4.presets
5.shortcuts setup
6.practice creative loops etc.
7.songs structure first
Great...even if you're not a producer. :)
@austinhull could you give us a video on creating space in beats before the track has to be sent to an artist ? how to not overcrowd beats even with good ideas or th ettpe of melodies that help songwriters and not obstruct them ?
Yeah! I basically just do the basic instrumental before we write. ONce we have vocals I fill it in with top melodies, back beats, ear candy, etc.
@@MakePopMusic nice so just a simple bed of chords and/or a simple melody
Yeah the 1.30 is sooo easy to fall into especially with a new artist - like here’s an idea and they run with it and then they get get stuck cus there’s no guide! A trap with that is they aren’t really writing with you they’re writing to track ?
Yeh, it sucks reading manual😂
You really have patience to learn about gear 😎🤠
I used to read manuals in the past and back in the day, instruments were not as affordable as they are today so you learn everything (almost) you need to learn about your gear. It's a habit I ought to relearn. RUclips tutorials have made me very lazy.
