Thanks for sharing! Fun times here. Watching the CAVs here was the bomb!! I also went to a couple of Barnum & Bailey Circus events and I saw The Force play here. I also saw MC Hammer and En Vogue here. It was a long hike getting out there, but boy was it worth it!
One of my favorite places on earth in my youth, all the rock concerts through out the 80’s,crusaders games barons games cavs games that place was filled with so much history it’s ridiculous, forever in my heart that beautiful grey structure in Richfield!!!!
I only been to the coliseum twice in my life. Once for a caves game when I was very little and the last time was Beauty and the Beast on ice. I truly wish it was never torn down as I believe it would be a historical place used for many great events today. If only they could reserrect the Coliseum from the ashes and bring back the memories.
Thanks for making this, brings back so many wonderful memories. I too miss it so much! I wish it was still around. Now gotta go to a horrible building downtown. Just not the same, never will be.
This is a nice video it just takes Me back to my youth and all my early sports memories and some of the best times of my life I saw Hulk Hogan slam King Kong Bundy on Saturday night main event WWF the Circus as well and of course the Cavs many times!!!
Small town kid from Minnesota, and I remember pulling in Cavs games on my radio(big time nerd). Memories of Joe Taitt and “The Final Countdown “ being blasted.
That's why I made this video. For people like you and me. Remembering how lucky we were to have bring those games to us. Making me feel like I was right there with him. Awesome!
I remember going to my friend's birthday party his dad's company had a loage walking around all the loages on the top Floor one of the banks had a loage with a true safe door to get in l miss the Barens hockey team you have a new scruber
I loved the arenas that were built in the late 60's and 70's like the Capital Centre in Maryland, The Forum in Inglewood, The Omni in Atlanta, etc. Todays venues seem so similar.
I can remember going to micky mouse on ice, a cavs game , multiple tractor and truck pulls and even wrestling events. That drive on the interstate and the traffic jams after were also part of the memories
Oh I remember going to a AC/DC concert and a lot of other concerts there with some great friends and dates. Those canons firing off at yhe beginning of for this about to rock song is forever burned in my brain.Unfortunely the last time I was there was for work Columbus Equipment the Komatsu dealer working on equipment owned by INDEPENDENCE Excavating doing the demo work there on the coliseum had fun there and some good memories.
I saw Alice cooper there the band the baby’s opened great show was winter parking lot all ice don’t know how we made it out I can’t believe thay tore it down but I do Remember the roof leaking in different spots may be poor construction dont know should have made it rock and roll hall of fame . Building only opened from 1974 to 1994 then torn down in 1999 how dumb. Should have Ben saved some how .
At 1 minute 47 seconds, this must be from 2020 cuz I just call him the Cleveland baseball team these days I won't call them that g word It's July 2022,; go Tribe !!!!

That's the main reason I made this video to remind us of the past for future generations.
Thank you for going back, I miss it too. Thank goodness we were at the right time for it.
Your welcome
What always stood out to me was the fact they built it in the middle of nowhere. Right beside normal farmhouses
Thanks for making this, brings back so many wonderful memories. I too miss it so much! I wish it was still around. Now gotta go to a horrible building downtown. Just not the same, never will be.

I would listen to Joe Tait in my parents basement. Recreating the plays with a nerd basketball. Triple overtime against the Lakers awesone times
The first two WWF Survivor Series events took place at The Coliseum, 1987 and again in 1988.
Actually, there were three. WWF went back for Survivor Series 1992.
This was a great piece. Whenever I drive 270 my eyes are on the road but out of the corner of my eye it is still there.
I get a sad sense of loss when I pass that open field. The ghosts of shot still ring in my head.
