Glad to see one of you was prepared & brought their muck boots! I hate working in the mud but worse is when it deep freezes under the rig. At Skyline farms we got a articulated beast with 8 tires sunk in the mud. We had 2 D8s with winches, 1 track hoe, 2 backhoes & still couldn't budge it without hours of digging! 2 shifts of 6 guys digging & sill wouldn't move. One guy brought out a huge air compressor on a service truck & later a water/mud pump. He built a cone on each pipe with holes like a well driller would have.... looked strange having all these pipes sticking in under it but WOW What an amazing difference to help it break the suction. I was young but you could hear the suction while it was coming out!
I've always wondered why the recovery channels that I watch on RUclips never have an actual service truck and always just pile their equipment where ever they can fit it. Just makes sense to have a reliable rig, with all your recovery gear, extra fuel, boost power, air, welding capabilities, etc. Cannot wait to see what you come up with!
I’ve been commenting on this for a long time, a service vehicle with a diesel brothers spin, I’m glad they are finally doing it. Jobs just go faster and safer with the right tools and equipment. Now if they can just learn to maintain things better they’ll break less. Lol
They're going to take a great service truck, and make it completely useless as a service truck. You know why you don't see service trucks on 40s with axle techs? Because it makes them useless/awful to use as a service truck. Same reason you dont see see trucks hauling/working on 40s with axle techs.

You guys are awesome. this video brought some memories back, I was pulling "All Terrain Forklifts" out of mud holes on jobs sites back in the 80's when I worked for a equipment rental company because of the morons who these contractors hire had no clue how to drive them. The rental company was also Koehring dealership, We had the biggest at the time a 9038 ATF but Koehring made a 10000 which they made for the military that had grapples on it for loading missiles on portable launch systems. We also had ATF's made by BPI called the square shooter that had a articulating frame that leveled to operate on uneven ground, the frame turned side to side. One of my jobs was testing the safety features on all equipment when it came back from rental and also recovery of dead machines of job sites. We had all kinds of equipment, excavators Koehring 6644 down to mini's excavators, ATF's of all sizes, skid steers, 110-40 ft boom lifts, scissor lifts, air compressors, light towers, Loaders, etc. My father inlaw who I got a job there driving the ramp truck LT9000 Ford pulled just about every type of machine out of so many different situations in winter, summer, in all temps. It was the most fun I ever had working and driving all types of equipment. Thanks for the memories.

I have literally seen batteries explode from this and nearly taking someone's life. Please teach your guys the proper way to jump start a vehicle safely. Their lives depend on it.
