Glad to see one of you was prepared & brought their muck boots! I hate working in the mud but worse is when it deep freezes under the rig. At Skyline farms we got a articulated beast with 8 tires sunk in the mud. We had 2 D8s with winches, 1 track hoe, 2 backhoes & still couldn't budge it without hours of digging! 2 shifts of 6 guys digging & sill wouldn't move. One guy brought out a huge air compressor on a service truck & later a water/mud pump. He built a cone on each pipe with holes like a well driller would have.... looked strange having all these pipes sticking in under it but WOW What an amazing difference to help it break the suction. I was young but you could hear the suction while it was coming out!

You guys are awesome. this video brought some memories back, I was pulling "All Terrain Forklifts" out of mud holes on jobs sites back in the 80's when I worked for a equipment rental company because of the morons who these contractors hire had no clue how to drive them. The rental company was also Koehring dealership, We had the biggest at the time a 9038 ATF but Koehring made a 10000 which they made for the military that had grapples on it for loading missiles on portable launch systems. We also had ATF's made by BPI called the square shooter that had a articulating frame that leveled to operate on uneven ground, the frame turned side to side. One of my jobs was testing the safety features on all equipment when it came back from rental and also recovery of dead machines of job sites. We had all kinds of equipment, excavators Koehring 6644 down to mini's excavators, ATF's of all sizes, skid steers, 110-40 ft boom lifts, scissor lifts, air compressors, light towers, Loaders, etc. My father inlaw who I got a job there driving the ramp truck LT9000 Ford pulled just about every type of machine out of so many different situations in winter, summer, in all temps. It was the most fun I ever had working and driving all types of equipment. Thanks for the memories.

Use air bag under your equipment or the boat . You can raise it to put pole unit the equipment to role it out very easy. Thanking less time.

That's what this channel was missing- you are on another level with that New Nokia Cam. Way better than the other cam, when Dave's head in every shot does not fit into the screen; and you find yourself glancing from one of his eye to the other side of the monitor to see the other eye, because the head in the shot is so big that you cant look at it all at once. You just need to zoom in more because the way things are now, not all the skin pores are 10x magnified and its hard to count them. Appart from that, great, fun channel, so keep it going(even if you will loose nokia).

I think Allen's phone made the video. Didn't realize you weren't finished with the other recovery with first telehandler, that one was really different and looked difficult, and all the thing that went wrong during the recovery made it very interesting video.

you ever thought of building 1 or a couple skid pads with plastic on the bottom that would function like the air boat does (discs with upturned edge) but with loops welded on to strap through wheels or broken suspension parts? then the beast could lift anything, slide them under, strap them on and then drag anything out on top of snow
