All that work on a bike that has all this technology, just to put a old school tech piggyback ecu on. These newer bike can be tuned fully on the stock ECU. Adjusting fuel map, running race fuel, drive by wire mapping, ignition timing, disable exhaust valve, disable AIS, launch control adjustment, adjust fan setting and many more on stock ecu with just a ftecu flash tune. 🤦♂️
Yeah, this video is a disservice. They probably got that obsolete piggyback garbage from a sponsor. There is way more to tuning an R1 CP4 properly than just the fuel mixture
Check out Brock's video going into DETAIL about stock ECU vs. Power Commander. A Power Commander still has air fuel ratio advantages over a stock ECU comparing apples to apples.
This is why when I buy my new bike I will be getting it properly dyno'd . Last thing I want is a damn power commander running middle man.
@@drewmorg. Brock is a hack and probably sponsored by DynoJet. The only advantage is if you want to swap different fuel maps for racing.
@@diamondheat9 There is zero advantage. If you need multiple maps for racing you can simply reflash the ECU in 5 minutes with a laptop. Power Commander is a bandaid and was a solution back in the day when ECUs were not flashable

@@piecrustyumyum don't get sold on active tuning. It's convenient but not the end all. Also we are only talking fuel here. Bikes have built in restrictions with throttle opening, decel control and other things that allow your tune to be set up better.
@@randyschmidt19 There really needs to be separate terms for Dyno tuning and derestricting. I've got an 06 ZX6R I bought a RapidBike Racing unit /w My Tuning Bike Kit. I'm also taking it to get derestricted if there are any once I have it put back together and finished, currently apart cause I've been doing a lot to it, not just for the Rapid Bike kit.
@@piecrustyumyum Rapid bike looks like a good interface and seems to work well. If you destrict the bike you will do it by rewriting or flashing the ECU. My mantra is the thing is tuned or it's not and spending the money for Rapid bike on top of flashing is not worth it.

Bike makes around 192-194 full exhaust system air filter and 93 pump.. and that exhaust system still have a Cata which is taking a way power so bike probably making 184-187

You should have had the ECU flashed by 2WDW. Gain proven power, smoothed out that snatchy throttle and had the fan kick on earlier to keep temps down. I realize that doesn’t make compelling content but it’s a hell of a lot more effective.
2wdw tuned my bolt on 2019 zx6r and it’s awesome. Runs like a raped ape when I want it to and rides smoother then stock if I’m just cruising around town.

Question for all of you folks out here from a newbie rider, what do you think of a Rieju RS2 motorcycle for a beginner since I'm on a tight budget as a student. It's a 50ccm bike and I'm not expecting crazy speeds or acceleration, just something that I can "learn" to drive on. Is it worth to buy or save up for something better? (not going over 300ccm)

What is rapid bikes? Just a different form of a power commander? These bikes make power with a flash. It is based off the stock tune just adjusting for exhaust?

Not really as they generally slip on after the catalytic converter
Why in gods name would you do a piggy back tune its can't nearly reach the entire fuel map if you just did a flash from ft ecu or woolich racing. Way more consistency and gets every thing done correctly

What's up with your audio?
if you have fuel in the tank and you remove that fuel line under the tank will the fuel come flowing out? I have wanted to do some maintenance but one of the steps is this step and Im not sure if I need to empty the gas tank first.
On mine some fuel comes out but nothing horrible, I put a towel on the frame before removing.
Depends on the bike. Some like the R1 featured have a quick release system that stops the fuel from flowing out. With the quick release system, you’ll just get a few drips - rather than a flow of fuel

The stock injectors for the R1 are enough for everything you tune normally so I don't see the point, but ok. Could have been a 5 minute video where you just install a PowerCommander and upload a profile for this setup. btw: a good tuned PowerCommander can do much more than you achieved with doing this :/

If you don't put the bike on a dino and tune it all the money you spent on isn't going to give you any hp you can lose a lot of hp actually so I recommend dino tune it nice try tho guys.
