That’s good to know. I don’t remember anyone saying it was bad, just that it didn’t have anything to offer. And not one person said it was their preferred area in the Standard category.
Please help. I am staying at Saratoga in Feb 2025 in a standard Studio. I don’t want to walk far to simply get a drink so where in the resort should I request. I presume there’s only the one resort mug filling point. The preferred rooms are just out of my price range. Thanks in advance.
I am pretty sure there are refill stations at The Paddock and The Grandstand pools. If you use @touringplans room request feature, I would put in the notes that you want to be near one of the soda refill stations. This will help the room assigner know what you are looking for. I would request 5112 in The Paddock to start.
Hi Shannon. Do you have any updated information on which buildings are fully remodeled? Or are all the buildings completed now? We are looking at a Standard 2 bed in October. Thanks!
We recently stayed in the Paddock building next to the pool. I would NOT recommend a first floor room. It was noisy and close to the main road and fire station. Maybe upper floor would be better. The hallways are very noisy and echo every sound.
We always book at 11 months but try and move at 7 months and have always been successful. We are trying to stay at as many of the DVC Resorts as we can. We know at some point, we won't be able to move at 7 months and we are fine with that. We also want to wait until all the refurbishments are done. The new rooms are gorgeous, but the older ones are in bad shape.
@@ShannonFord I own there and say exactly the same. We try to stay in them all so if we can move, move. Now the refurb is nearing completion though I’m looking forward to staying.

We own here also. We love the Grandstand. It's a very short walk to the Carriage House and to the ferry!
We are DVC , Saratoga is our home . The grandstand is our absolute favorite ❤️ the pool and hot tub are also open 24/7 which our older kids love

We have stayed at the Carosel and it wasn't bad. Very close to the bus and the Paddock pool with its amenities.

Saratoga refurbs are complete
