It's a great video and I love how she does her walkthroughs but when she turns away from the camera and talks it's a kind of hard to hear her. Just something to keep in mind. Also suggestion mentioning and pointing out outlet's and usb ports!

From one Paul to another, I feel your pain on the "first try" at that style Murphy bed. You should have seen me try to "show off" when we stayed at AoA and I underestimated the effort needed. I was able to pull it down with no problem (once I read the instructions) but during that entire trip I was constantly reminded of the "first try" by my family. I was even given pointers by Gaston later in that week.
Thanks for the review. SSR is one of our home resorts and we love it! I hope it still looks clean and fresh by the time we visit again. Not sure the light neutral colors are going to hold up very well.
Of course the layout of the room will look like Beach Club DVC. BCV, BWV, BRV and SSR all use the same layout and design of the rooms. They are all within a few square feet of each other.
Love your DVC reports, Amy & Paul. Just checked on a SSR studio points rental during time I will be out there in CBR & 6 nights at SSR is same price as 4 nights at CBR (ok I had to buy 2 day tickets w/PH to get the pckg. but it’s part of the price to me 🤷🏼♀️). I definitely want to rent next time I go to Disney. Would eventually love to buy resale there too because it has the best of both worlds: near shopping at DS & peaceful seclusion. The refurb/remodels look so pretty!
The pieces of wood that divide windows are mullions (vertical) and stiles (horizontal). Of course the ones in DVC windows are fake and inside the panes. But it does add charm. It looks like although you can now sleep that one more person 5' or under, there isnt much place to put away the clothing of either guest in the living room other than in the coffee table. Originally the armoire in the livingroom held the TV and had 3 wide drawers and side cubbies. They didn't replace that storage. However, it looks lovely. We will be staying in a 1 bedroom in Saratoga Springs in early August. We requested Grandstand.
Nice looking room, just wish the 1 bedroom villas were not twice the cost of studio. The extra space is nice, but that and being able to sleep one more person is not worth twice cost. And don't many studios now sleep five? Still glad to see SSR get some love.

Great video of course. Soooo since my husband, 13 year old son, and I are arriving at the end of August for 7 nights will we def. be in a 1 bedroom villa that is refurbished?
We stayed at Saratoga for the first time last month in a two bedroom. We loved it! My only complaint and it’s with other DVC resorts as well, why do they not think of women and shaving legs?? It’s actually really disappointing that it’s not even a thought in the shower design
Was watching this video for information on this room and had to turn it off less than halfway through. Couldn’t take all the “ummm”’s happening at the start of every sentence.

Man! I was there last year before lockdown at that same building. I'm glad they decided to get refurbs done cause the beds before were horrible.

Tbh i miss the old way the master bath was, with the shutters into the bedroom and larger tub.
Even though I am not a huge fan of Disney Springs, the functionality of the SSR rooms are fabulous

Compared to studio prices at other resorts, Saratoga and OKW one-bedroom costs are pretty reasonable.
