Pete, the day has finally come where you give us fellow Saratoga DVC owners our due. Lol.
If they are looking to expand the Star Wars resort offerings.. they can retheme these to be Endor. It's already half way to being an Ewok village! :)

Im torn is that would be good or not
I'm so glad you did this. Very timely for me. We check into a treehouse villa on Sunday. I'm even more excited now. We have stayed at my home resort innumerable times but never stayed in a treehouse. Also Corey, your wife is just adorable.
I don’t know if this is what they were going for here, but I know that in many homes in Japan it’s common to have the shower and bath separate. You shower and get clean first, then relax in the bath. Since being introduced to this idea I can’t stand the idea of “relaxing” in dirty bath water after you’ve washed yourself in it. If I were to design my ideal bathroom, I’d do this kind of setup (with toilet in another room entirely.)
And yup, it can be useful for rinsing off after a bath, too. In onsen in Japan you wash before bathing to clean yourself so you’re not bringing impurities into the hot spring water, then after to rinse off the minerals from the bath.
At least they’ve removed the peacocks that used to roam the grounds back in the 80’s when I stayed there. Definitely didn’t need an alarm in the morning. Love the area and serenity.
Walking distance to Disney Springs. Or the boat. Best point of all😎🤓🌴❤️
I stayed in the treehouse villas in the summer of 1988. There used to be a basement bedroom! There was a spiral staircase in the middle of the main room that went down to a little bedroom!
FIASCO - love your videos - and nice to see Haley too..... keep up the fun .....
Best THVilla review I’ve ever seen❕🌿☀️ And so fun, too❕❕😊
Love SSR. It's our home resort!
It's interesting how so many people on the Dis who live in Florida love the woods/lodge look, but I'm from PA so if I go to Florida I like the resorts that look like Florida/the beach! Lol I'd love to try one of these tree houses though.
Are the bunkbeds kids size like at Wilderness Lodge or can an adult sleep in it! Thank you!
The single room with tub and shower together is common in Japan. You will find that in all of the Disney hotels at Tokyo Disney Resort - for example. It’s quite nice.
Many many years ago when I was a kid we stayed here with my cousins.
We decided we would sneak out at midnight to go skinny - dipping at the river.
We snuck back in just after 1am thinking we had pulled off something daring and planned
to do it again the next night. Anyway, some how the conversation about the place went on between my
uncle and my Dad about some of the big 5 foot gators that Disney had captured and removed from the river.
We were about to faint after that news - needless to say our Huck and Finn river swim at midnight came to a quick end.
Pretty sure the master bathroom setup is primarily a space saving decision
This would have been my guess
Saratoga is great, very under rated resort
Pretty cool too that the Treehouse Villas are the only nudist resort on WDW property.
Yes, does remind me of BRV rooms or FW cabins. Great job all!
They have handicap Villa's with beautiful ramps too!
This is an excellent overview of the THV Fiasco, well done many things seen on this not on others. I wish they’d refurb these with the main buildings as they could do with the same style refurb- the Poly bungalows are being done already!
Don’t worry Pete I’m sure it’s tax deductible!
We stay there in a couple of weeks and this review just got me even more excited! To get raving reviews from Pete is a really big deal 😉
I think the intention of the shower is so that if you want to take a bath you can shower off the oil and grime then jump in a warm bath and you’re not swimming in your own gunk.
Great tour Fiasco and Hailey sure does add so much to these vlogs. Keep her on the payroll!🤣💖
We have stayed in these before and absolutely loved it. The only negative for me is the lack of a king bed in the master. I didn't mind the extra transportation time. But we visit a lot so we are never rushed.
Great video and tour. ❤️
PETE - Thanks for giving SSR another look! I agree that it is underrated. The "resort of last resort" moniker is misleading given SSR's massive size. Consider this: you can fit ALL of both BWV and BCV into SSR and still have about 500 rooms still remaining! SSR will always be the last resort to fill up given there are almost 1400 rooms.
I can't believe I will be a DVC member the next time I see this magical place!
Wow I love it
What size bed in the second bedroom (the one by the twin bedroom)? I can’t tell if it’s a full or queen. Thank you!
11:00 - In Europe, if they have showers, the shower is often just out there in the bathroom, not in a separate area with some sort of structure to separate the water from the rest of the room.
I've never seen one with a separate tub.
I was going to say, it looks like a very European or even Japanese styled bathroom in the Master bath.
Since there are no tours of the two story grand villa at Boardwalk, that would be nice to see that floor plan.
I’m still playing catch up from our first time staying at SSR. Loved it! We will be back
Such perfect timing, im booking the villa in a few days. Pete is such a hero taking all these bullets for us lol.
I remember when this was cast housing! Way nicer now!
Another superb video tour by Fiasco and Halley. I haven’t stayed in a treehouse villa yet but it is on my list. Having the unit separate and out in the trees looks like a nice 180 degree shift from a day in the parks. Point value is great too. How far would it be to get to one of the pools on the main part of the resort?
Great review Ryno! SSR is one of our home resorts and we love it there. We've always wanted to stay at a Treehouse Villa and after this it will probably be sooner rather than later. I have to admit I cringed when Pete came on and thought, oh here we go, its lets bash SSR time. I was pleasantly surprised that he gave it such a glowing review. I understand that SSR is not a resort for everyone, but its about time it starts getting the love it deserves.
Ryno is the other one!
This is Fiasco.
Pete showing Saratoga Springs some love......maybe buying Riviera resale......what’s happening 🤣?
Loved this one guys! Cool to remember it can sleep 9 for those family get togethers as well as space to spread out a little if group is slightly smaller.
The main issue with the Treehouse Villas is the transportation. To get anywhere, besides Disney Springs when the boats are running, you board a bus. That bus brings you to the Springs Bus stop at SSR. The Springs bus stop is the 5th and last stop in the SSR loop. Then you wait there for your bus to show up. If you are trying to do rope drop, either drive over to or if you THV is close to the Grandstand area walk over to that bus stop.
My wife and I have a tub/shower setup like that - the purpose is to try to combine fanciness with space saving. We love it but it may not be for everyone
Love the DIS keep up the good work !
Good review, they remind me of a cabin in Wisconsin Dells minus the occasional palm tree you can see out the window. How far are these from Disney Springs? I heard complaints about these before that they were too far away ? Thanks for the review look forward to the next one.
Do the couches pull out and the chair into a sleeper sofas?
that's Pete give give give and never take😁
Love these shows!!
Ok Fiasco and Pete, Is time for Grand California DVC rooms to be shown!!
Jokes on Disney- I’m boosting that whole tree fort
Corey, I think you and I have very similar tastes. I love this aesthetic too. Love the end table. Will duel you for one (this is not a threat, this is a video game thing, relax.) And yanno, you play Horde and that matters.
But don't steal the lamp, that's not YOUR shtick....
Also confused over the main shower setup but the tub is droolworthy.
Is there charging for EVC’s since my in-laws will have to rent them? And how about the pool situation, do you have to go to the pool areas at the traditional area of Saratoga? I’m asking because we are bringing out three teenage nephews for the first time to Disney.
The Treehouse Villas does have a smaller pool and hot tub, in order to have a slide at the pool you would have to go to the pool at the Carriage house or Paddock pool.
Does the living room sofa open to a bed? Loving these room tour videos
Yes and a chair also opens up into a sleeper chair.
I really want to do the Treehouse villa BUT I don't want a smaller bed. I love my King bed...
I always wanted to stay there, but after this tour, I'm not so sure. The furnishings look old and a little mismatched and the overall vibe is outdated.
Omg! It still has all the nasty colors and motif from the 80s and 90s when my family used to stay there! I always hoped that they would update these with a different theme based on one of the movies. I could not believe how many times you say you want this nasty furniture!
ive wanted to stay in those since before they were part of the disney institute
The shower seems to be for Handicapped people or a second person cleaning at same time.
My mom stayed at the treehouses and said boat was the only way to get there
Was she mistaken?
You can definitely get there by car - very few parking spots but that is how you initially arrive. Boat transportation then to get to Springs etc... ~Panda
LOL. Pete Werner, I installed the DVC Resale app and wound up buying 600+ BLT resale points this year. Perhaps I should uninstall. LOL.
The separate shower from being in the tub might be based on being more safe to not slip
I wish Disney would refurbish the treehouses. I’d love to stay there, but the rooms look so outdated.
Disney you gotta do a better job with the cable management in regards to the TVs. Especially how the tv plugged in, below the TV in the living room. Your Disney gotta do better. We shouldn’t be able to see the cables on wall mounted TVs
App doesn’t work
too dark, old, and outdated reminds me of a cheap lodge in Gatlinburg
Its a 120VAC electrical outlet
I think that is a handicapped bathroom set up.
If so, it might be difficult for the person with the handicap to get into the room itself, since there appear to only be stairs.
No they are all like that.
Oooooh they ruined it for me with the Coke machine at the bus stop......
Coke is way better then Pepsi...of course I collect antique Coke items, LOL 😆
Looks super dated
Fiaso is one of the best on-camera personalities, if not THE best, for The DIS, but that backwards hat has to go. Unless you are a teenage boy, no adult should wear a backwards hat in a professional setting, even one as casual as a Disney blog.
