OMG thank you so much!!!. I just wanted to get to the transparent bit to wipe it clean and started unscrewing and got carried away and after 10 min found myself staring into the abyss… you really saved my shabat!!
That was great. Thank you! After “someone” used the Dyson to clean up a half a tub of oxiclean that spilled, the head became completely gunked up. This was the perfect deep cleaning tutorial. Thank you.
Great job … YOU make it look easy … I’m a DIY’er and have big hands so I don’t think I’ll go as far as you did … but it’s good info to know if something breaks …
This was NoT easy but I did it!!! Got it apart and last "pull apart" step I needed to order the torx t8 screwdriver 😢. Waited 3 days then finished disassembling and reassembling. Keep track of your scews! Don't mix them up. They all look alike but......😮😮😮
The black gasket on the clear cover was already loose when I took it apart, but now I can NOT get it back on there. More than half of it is hanging and is very stretched out and will not stay in place now. What do I do now or any tips to get it to seal back in place?
I watched your deep cleaning video but the V-10 doesn’t have the 2 #1 Phillips-head screws to open the roller head cover. I don’t want to snap anything. Can you help? Greatly appreciated! Denise
My misses washed the power head not knowing there was a motor there. It still works but I’ve lost the white o-ring and the plastics are eating away the roller. What would be the process of changing the power head motor? Thanks
This is so frustrating. I have a V11 Animal model and after rotating and popping off the end cover, the brush roller still cannot be pulled out. I noticed you slightly rotated the brush and it came out easily; however, my brush roller is completely locked up and will not move in either direction. I've had this model for about 3 years and never had a problem until recently when I removed hair & lint from the roller. The brush roller worked for about 5 seconds, then completely stopped turning. The motor still runs just fine. Now, what do I do??
What a design failure. All this to clean the plastic cover which should’ve had a clip feature where you can just pop it off to wipe it down. Almost want to return our shit to Costco.
This is very useful but it would have been great to see you actually clean it, I know that sounds like it should be obvious but with the machine being so expensive I'd really appreciate recommendations of what to use and what not to. Just my opinion, it's still a good video. 🙂
Thanks! Perhaps next video I make I’ll include some footage of cleaning it. I didn’t consider that content that people would find useful. But just for you I’ll tell you I use dawn dish soap and various brushes that I get from harbor freight.

Exactly what I needed! Easy to follow and pause along the way.
Finally, someone does video on the brush head

This was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Thank you so much.
What a fantastic breakdown. Best I've seen on YT. Thank you.
Excellent instructional video I was not going to try this until I saw your instructions a big THANK YOU
Great job! Very good videography and step by step instructions! Thank you!

Excellent instructional video as usual. Love your channel, thanks for bringing us along.
Thank you! 😊
This was AMAZING!! Exactly what I needed. Appreciate this video A LOT! 🙏🙏
Super helpful! At the end, I mixed up the rubber band screws, but I noticed on the second one. Thanks for the video! 😊

Thank you so much, this video helped me deep clean my torque 2.0 for my V15. It made a huge difference feels new again thank you!
Me too! Mine got so much quieter after I cleaned and lubed the bearing too
The best instruction video seen in years I was not confident to do this until i watched the video A BIG THANK YOU
Perfect! Thanks a lot, really appreciate it... One thing I would suggest is to announce the screw type when re assembling.
You did an excellent job, but at the end I mixed a few screws up. If you told us which screws to go back would’ve been better thanks so much.
Thanks for the feedback!
Legend, ive been hating all the buildup for the last few years on my dyson head.
Great work. Really helped me cleaning my dyson head.
Thanks so much!
Great video. THANK YOU. I need to replace the RED wire which snapped in the articulated joint.
I’m not aware of the wires being a part they make available.
Just fixed mine using this video... thanks for all the details which helped a lot..
Awesome job. Thank you so much!!
Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I fixed my vacuum cleaner💐
Life saving, thank you!!!
Good video! I wish I saw it before i bought it 😅.
How can I get a spare of the teflon ring that is on the far right. Mine is used up and vibrates, the motor goes to protection and stops
I’m not aware of any parts available for that motor. You most likely need to replace the whole head
Great video. I was replacing the neck and looking for an alternative to cutting the wires to remove from the motorhead sleeve.
How did you make the black gasket stay in place so easily? Mine just keeps coming off
Sometimes they are a pain. You could try putting a small amount of grease on it which would help it stick in place better

You can use a drop of super glue to keep it in place and just trim the excess off
Excellent! Very helpful, thank you!

I believe you also emailed me. I don’t know which head you have so without pictures I can’t help
Thank you so much it's very helpful I did deep clean👍👍👍👍👍
The tiny wheels, how do I remove them? Mine constantly stop rolling because of dog hairs.
I’ll make a video about that!
@@richardsvacuumcenter thanks mate. I just can’t get them out.

They do not make the motors available separately unfortunately. Unless you can buy a used one on eBay or something…
I found a few on aliexpress. Different wattages. Do you know if this model is 100w?
Thanks
Do you also know if they sell that white silicone rubber seperate?

Sounds like you should replace the head. I’m not positive but without seeing it my self that’s the best I can do.
You saved me! Thank you for your video. Dyson should design an easier to clean machine!
How to clean brush on v6 I have 2brushes one is very easy the other I can’t get it cleaned
Great tutorial 👍
My brush doesn't come out when I open the hatch with a coin...only hatch comes out....I have v15 absolute detect
I’m not sure what a hatch is?

I will NEVER buy a Dyson again 😢😢😢.
Great I’ll buy a new brush 😂😂😂
I wish I had watched this before I submerged the whole thing in water 😢. Now it doesn’t spin anymore.
😳
@@richardsvacuumcenter I managed to have it fixed. Used your video for disassembly and reassembly. Vacuum works great 👍🏾
I did the same thing a few years ago😂
Куда ты полез в разбор техники купи как и покупал раньше новую капиталогорилос
My dad has been fixing vacuums my whole life.
Dyson design is shit. Very impractical
