Never having attended guitar school, your videos were the first sources of information I acquired when I started playing guitar, a time when I knew absolutely nothing about guitars.. infact I learned how to tune a guitar from one of your videos.. And now, almost four years later, I'm still learning from you.. So thank you Marty..🎉🎉
Thanks Marty. You are my go to guy. Started playing 50 years too late at 67 but with your help I might just make it. Thanks, Graham, Brampton, Cumbria, England.
Freaking A! Always wanted a tutorial of this song. Could never find a good one. Until today, was listening to the song after not listening to it for a while. Checked out to see of they were any new lessons on it. And there it was a lesson from Marty! Thank you Marty
I taught myself this one several years ago, in fact just accidentally discovered the bar chord combo just playing around with different chord combinations! Thanks for teaching folks(especially younger ones) this tune! It’s one of my favorite Dylan tunes! If I may, with due respect Marty, suggest showing the two versions, (barre chords, traditional chord config) separately. It confuses beginning guitar students when they are shown competing methods together. Then of course after they become more familiar with those specific chords, it’s easier for them to switch back an forth. Just a friendly suggestion, and thank you again for all the great songs you’ve given instruction on! I still love watching your interview with Ed King, relatively near to his passing! Thank you for that! I’m sure that was a great honor. You were so fortunate to have scored that one! I wish there was more interviews and footage out there of him speaking about his time with Skynyrd! Have a blessed day brother!😉😊😎👍
Once yet again, you present a challenge for me, I love that, my left hand pinky finger doesn't do what it needs to anymore, so I've leaned away from making a bunch of full chords and have gotten comfortable in that middle rhythm area. This one makes me use it and that challenge I accept lol
You are the best teacher. I love just opening up youtube everyday with a new lesson to learn. There is one song that you don't have to do but I would love it if you tried. It is called Bang a Drum by Bon Jovi. This song is very important to me and my family and it follows what you have been doing (teaching more basic songs) with like 4 chords. Love your channel weather you do it or not though as a long time watcher😊
Fantastic teacher and song choice. Marty motivated me to learn guitar and this song inspired to tackle the dreaded barre chord. Looking forward to sounding like garbage for the next month. I hope he does more Dylan acoustic songs. Specifically, Girl from the North Country. His solo finger picking version, not the Cash collab.
Awesome song choice Marty! Just such a classic, beautiful song, and I love Bob Dylan. Could you please do a guitar lesson + tutorial on “Rock & Roll Band” by Boston? Thanks brother, another classic song right there. Thanks man. Keep up the excellent work, and amazing job with the videos as always.🙏👍
Your instructions are top notch as always but your plugged in acoustic tone is some of the best I have heard. I see the amp mic'd up so I am assuming you are plugged in? Can you share your secret?
Marty can you please do a tutorial on prototype by outkast i know it’s not your usual type of music to do for a tutorial but it’s my favorite song right now and it’s hard to find a tutorial as good as yours are. Thank you.
Hey Marty, Hope you're doing fine. I have a request of a song that's been long due, since maybe 2000s. Please give a tutorial of Abandoned Love by Bob Dylan. I'm pouring my heart out and begging you for that.
Hi Marty can you do a tutorial of "Dyin" from Marcus king and few more marcus king if you can show us would be great. There is no lesson available on youtube for his songs

Bob Dylan's music is just so smooth. Nothing over-the-top, but it elevates the music and themes he uniquely writes. Cheers as always

It's so important to make content for begginers, sometimes we forget that we were once in the same spot. ❤
