The Gilmour effect. Slow, beautiful melodic blues scales. He says he wasn't blessed with speed but I've seen him do some pretty fast runs and fills. But I love me some David Gilmour. Can't wait to get off work and go over all these. Your channel is perfect for me. Thanks!

Hey buddy huge fan here and I'm fairly certain you've taught me about %85 of anything I can play on guitar. My son to for that matter, but this lesson really hits home for me. I always catch myself speeding up on everything I play. I don't know if it's nerves or not but I play faster and faster as the tune progresses. So I very much needed this. Thanks for everything you do and keep on picking 🤘🤘

If you’re learning these concepts for the first time try and get it down because it’s immensely important and will help you improve quickly! It’s important to remember you can change the key and do the same thing anywhere on the neck you just have to bar in place of the nut.

I'll take melodic rock music, blues, jazz, pop...heck, I'll even take pop country, over virtuositic shredding any day. David Gilmour made a decent livin' from melodic guitar playing.
I pay for Fender Play and literally don’t use it once in a month, not once. 17.99 then 9.99. Everything I’ve learnt has been from RUclips but I keep it as can afford it and love Fender and the scales etc I need to learn, just need to work out how to use it on my laptop. But 4.41M subs, you deserve everyone, taught me everything I know so far and I know how to get you on my laptop, larger screen, sure it is easy with Fender but I ‘sign in with Apple’ so no password. But TBH I buy there guitars and parts think il just use this channel as my teacher for 2025 onwards..
