Yeah that's a high quality pedal. Rich tone. I always liked pedal with a 12Ax7 inside. Then you can change the tube for the subtle tonal colorations different tubes give. And use tubes that are higher or lower gain in there output.
Love the "Trails of Tears" -ish jam. Any reference to EJ, especially that Tones album, makes me happy. 😀 Very nice sounding pedal. A "make everything better" pedal. Love it!
Great video Leon! I've got one of these pedals on order as we speak. I can't wait to try it out with the Crossfire. CTC makes some seriously delicious tone-boxes. The next one I'll be getting will be the Black Magic after this, and those will cover every amp tone from clean to scream. Isn't it great to have all these tones at the press of a button or two? You got some nice creamy tones with that box, and I'm going to try rolling at Mullard 12AX7 in mine when it gets here, then try it with a Wurlitzer 12AX7 and see what I get. Maybe you might try that with that pedal and see what you think.
Hey Leon. I'm looking for a dual OD pedal for one side to boost my victory v30 (rectifier voiced) always on, and one to boost for leads. U think this is a good buy for that, or shpuld I look at something else like maybe the d&m drive?

Little correction - these ship with a 12AY7 bit will accept 12AX7 and other equivalent varieties.
Dam that definitely seems more versatile than most overdrives.pretty cool.
Really impressive with the humbuckers. Gritty and greasy.

This is cool since it gives you a boost plus more of the same if needed.
CTC do a few other dual mode pedals that are worth looking into too.
