Nothing sounds like a Telecaster Bridge pickup palm-muted with brand new strings. I've played nothing but a tele Bridge pickup for 15 years. And I'm still addicted to it.
as always Bea... killer demo. It's always great to see you get lost in something. CTC have some of the best ears in the business for sure. I picked this up when it first came out and it's just such a sweet pedal.

Ooh that tele melted my face bruh! That neck pu was just nasty. when I looked up, we were making some of the same faces. Tone was just filthy (in a great way, of course). Excellent playing sir!
Bea is a prime example of why passive pickups are amazing for heavy tones. My cousin is in a black metal band and was adamant that you should only use actives (like EMGs) for all heavy styles. He's a stubborn ah so I just roll my eyes and play some Toska and Periphery.
Honestly for most black and death metal, he’s right. Dudes have been using emg’s forever for that stuff, and they work great. I have an emg loaded guitar myself which kills for that style. Problem is if I ever want to get any sort of warmth or dynamics in my playing, which these days I mostly do, even with the heavy stuff, actives just don’t cut it. Passives are much more versatile, and there are waaaaayyy more options.
You got so much incredible gear and get such amazing sounds how do you choose what to play? Ok Rabea so if you could only choose 1 guitar, 1 amp, 3 pedals and either two notes live or Ox for speaker simulation what would you choose??

The pedal and set up sounded awesome, but really, Rabea could plug into a used cat litter box and have me looking into buying one not even a quarter of the way through the video with the way that he plays...

I honestly love the bridge pickup of a Tele with a clean sound through a Vox. It's pure tonal ecstasy. Just awesome guitars really.

I’ll listen to anything you play on that double Esquire. You have a great, natural sound with lower gain settings.

The OX outputs a stereo signal. You can blend 3 mics with the OX. Two close mics and a room.
