This is really random, but can I just say I really appreciate the long fade-outs on your videos. Gives me time to actually look at the end-cards and/or click off before something else in the playlist starts blaring at me! :P
Pretty much my dream Superstrat. Got all the specs that hit the right spots, 24 SS frets, nice contoured heel, HSS. Knowing myself I'd probably block the trem with the coin and duct tape method and solder in a hotter bridge humbucker, but hey I can't afford one so wishfull thinking anyway :') Thanks for the demo man; great playing! You could make anything sound great.
Man, I’ve been following your playing for a long time, first found you on Anderson’s early videos & stuff with Rob...been a fan of all you guys. Man, you are a phenomenal guitar player...I mean like another planet level. Those are fine guitars, but I think you’re playing is the star. Peace!
These guitars are probably the best sounding instruments I've heard you play through your stereo rig. Amazing tones. Definitely what I hear in my head when I want an hss strat style instrument.
Curiosity: we call bird's eye maple the peacock's eye maple in Polish :). Great video, as usual, glad to see you cooperating with a Polish company, TBF I considered their offer lacking some more traditional axes and they filled the gap perfectly with this pair. If I only wasn't skint that much, I'd get one! BR, Igor
Bhought the Aquila FM6 last year, same as the brown one in the vid but with Black Limba body. The sound is fenomenal, it’s similar to a fat strat but with 24 stainless frets and a recessed, stable trem (Gotoh 510). What I also like is the volume know having a push/push function to split the coil to make it sound like a vintage ‘Blackmore-ish’ kind a sound. Highly recommend these guitars.
I love my mayones, I have the setius pro 6 that's on their website as series model. I fell in love with the Aquila qm when the first photos dropped. The gas is strong.
Damn dude!!!! I wish you got to keep one of them for the channel!! They sound amazing in your hands dude!! Could you imagine if you did a custom mayones guitar for yourself!! Wow that is just amazing to imagine with your BKP Silo’s in there!!
Wow they both look 👀 & sound great but the flame maple FM6 sounds absolutely phenomenal. Then again anything you play sounds great 👍 Love the channel & you’re album’s 🎶
Dang! I’m all about solid nitro finishes over figured woods, and I’ve never been a fan of those pearloid guards, but if I had four grand laying around I’d snatch up one of these in a heartbeat. Something special them. Great demo, as always.
Oof, position 4 on those pickups I would live there. I'd build a small log cabin, sit on the porch in a rocking chair with a mug of hot chocolate, and just soak it all in.
All the Mayones models look so beautiful. I love that fancy woods, boutique kinda vibe. I've read that you don't get rolled fingerboard edges on them though. Seems like a bit of an oversight for such expensive instruments. Have seen a number of comments saying the edges are a sharp 90 degrees. That would really put me off ever getting one, regardless of how good they look. I sent a Schecter back recently, one of the 2 reasons being the fingerboard edges not being smooth. I was surprised as I have a cheaper Schecter model (Reaper-6) with a very comfortable neck and fingerboard edges. Don't know whether it's cost cutting in the factory or whether only certain models get that extra treatment. That said, I did get to play one of these Aquila models in my local guitar shop, which is one of the few UK Mayones dealers. I didn't feel anything uncomfortable with the neck so perhaps there are other factors at play that affect the comfort...or maybe I just got even more appreciative of smooth edges the longer I played my own guitars with them so suddenly trying something without may have been more noticeable then. Anyways...the Aquila I tried definitely felt like a high quality instrument. I was surprised to see how thick the neck is in the specs, as my preference seems to be ultra-thin, but the Aquila felt fine to me. The Suhr Standard Plus I also got to try in the same shop felt even nicer to play though, and had incredible sounding single coils.
I hate you Bea. I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on an MIH Ibanez AZ Prestige HSS as a less delicate alternative to my beloved HSS Suhr. But man, these Mayones Aquilas look and sound INCREDIBLE! Thanks for making my life difficult :D
Hey bea!! Thanks dude this video is just what I needed to watch today!! Your playing always makes me inspired!! Thank you cocker that video was a good un you should be chuffed with that video spadge
Mayones is carried by the "Music Store Professional" in cologne. Their "Fame" (exclusive for "Music Store Professional") guitars are also of Mayones origin. These 2 "super Strats" are just perfect eye candy. I would love to say: "watch out Fender custom shop" but i can't because of the resale value. So these axes are for the player, not the accountant ... ant they deserve to be played. Great demo, thanks a lot!
They still are way better value than lets say stupidly expensive Fender Custom Shops which don't really deliver any high-end features or exotic woods, nothing like that... Just more or less basic strats with absurd price tags
@@elevenAD I know about Kiesel but here in Spain they are not do common to even try them! I'm going to make myself one or two and see how it goes but I'm in love with the shape of the body the legend model has so I may do something like that eventually.
@@oskarwroniewicz Of course, Fender or Gibson are just expensive names I'm sure you could find some marvelous guitars in those companies but you need to try 10000000 bad ones for the same price, not worth it in my opinion.

Quick question for anyone that can help, just bought a performer tele today and when I got home I noticed a popping noise when touching the open strings and volume and tone knob. I’ve researched quite a bit but it sound more like a ground issue or static???? Any help would be much appreciated.
Now that is very interesting. 24 frets pushes the neck and middle pickups closer to the bridge, so far more higher harmonics on the neck pickup. Assuming the middle is wired opposite to neck and bridge then you should get quacky noise-cancelling but with better high frequencies, Bit like a Strat on steroids? Bright and jangly but with even more attitude. Love it.
I just love good players show what they are capable of on any sort of guitar. it reminds me that, if you play well, many instruments sound amazing, no matter what price. some players are just amazing to listen to, such as Rabea here.
I love Mayones Guitars. I have a Setius and it is the best playing and best made guitar i own. Got it for 1000€. They really are one of the best guitars made. But i would not buy one for the price they are asking for it.

Hi Rabea, Great vid, as always. Anything more to report on your custom shop strat, or have you settled for the original PUs? Any chance of a similar vid with the Sire Larry Carltons? Mayones guitars are so beautiful, even more so when they’re played by a beautiful man
A BEAutiful man as well
Claudio Sanchez but more bae
Wait I’m not actually into the video yet but is mayones pronounced mayonaise? 😂
That’s why I bought one.
Rabea, if you did an album with those ambient crunch tones you would win a Grammy. You are a master at that.

I love my Lollar Blackface neck pickup. It sounds more Fender than many Fender ones.

I was looking for that comment. LOL
KILLER SOUND on QM6
Your vids haven't been popping up on my feed! YT algo is playing games with my heart.
such a nice sound. you are a very good player brother :)

Wonderful looking guitars! The playing isn't bad either my friend😉
