I think Bass is better than Bass+ since it hits a wider area and it's one of those chips you can do OP shenanigans with. Serenade is just better than Dark Aura imo. Delta Ray is much better than Balance imo. Alpha Arm Sigma and Omega kind of have the Bass/Bass+ relation, but Alpha Arm Omega is better than Bass+ and Alpha Arm Sigma is worse than Bass imo, I'm giving it to the omega variant on this. Again imo Much much better than BN4 where it was one sided for Red Sun with each being at the absolute least debatable or else clearly better.
Matt D yea sounds crazy but i did it. Was able to beat it 10 hrs. Got 3 stars and obtained all i needed onto my blue. Finished with all 7 stars and all chips. I didnt do all 7 stars on white because i just wanted everything on blue. Maybe ill go back and finish off white some day
Two things! You forgot a certain Giga class chip - DeltaRay! You obtain it by chance when playing multiplayer linked vs netbattles, you must have enough stars on your gamesave to acquire it however, I think it's 4 or 5. It is a timed attack where Protoman can slash three times by pressing A, for a triangle pattern. Also! If you have Mr Famous' Wrist Band from the Number trade, you can use it to execute secret moves for the Punk Chip, and also the FlamMan chips!
There were many chips for pvp battle, yet it was useless since pvp is not really a thing back then. MMBN was a series way ahead of it's time. Imagine that they actually release a new game on mobile, pretty sure it will get recognition

You get it by defeating Alpha Omega, who in order to face, you have to beat all of the omega navis, who, to unlock ,you have to get the first 5 stars (which can't be done unless you cheat, or have a way to transfer chips from Blue to White, or vice versa).

When you say you need both versions to get ALL seven stars?? You don't need both versions to obtain all standard chips or to beat Bass GS and Bass Omega. Oh, and the Punk chip is also available in blue version(Mr. Famous is in Blue Version in place of his assistant) but only through a special event of sorts. I don't know all the details on that capcom even though. You can always use Gameshark are Action Replay though(the latter device I'm hoping to get soon for my birthday).

you need to get all 7 stars and then defeat Alpha. That is how you get the last giga chip Alpha's its that simple but you don't get it from Alpha the game gives you the chip when you restart and enter the game.
