Thank you for watching this video. For all the people who got confused with how "glitchless" this run is - the whole run follows the official ruleset of Any% Glitchless category on speedrun.com which can be found here ( www.speedrun.com/darksouls3?h=Any_Glitchless&rules=category&x=jdz6v9v2 ). FAQ - At 10:30 you dont go "through" the wall. Its a visual asset deload that is caused by character standing next to this wall, you dont even have to jump towards it. It never deloads anything else but textures and you never go out of bounds, this jump is done only to get some more speed down the pit, so its possible to perform Fall Damage Cancel. Speaking of Princes strategy - its not an AI glitch, and it has one major difference from actual AI Freeezes (like Watchers Freeze or Aldrich Freeze) - boss literally cant see you if you end up fighting Phase 1 at that certain spot on the carpet. And until you hit Lorian in Phase 2 or go too far, he will not notice you, which allows you to hit Lothric, for more information about this strat, i have a video that you can check out - ruclips.net/video/2x7yYbNO3Rk/видео.html . How can the Twin Princes AI "disable" not be counted as a glitch? That seems really weird.

@@kiriusview9251 Cause its not an AI break, thats why i put a video link where i explain how exactly it works, and whats the difference from actual glitches that break boss’ AI. And speaking of timesaves, p1 on princes was awful here unfortunately

I'm pretty sure I spent more than 41 minutes just scratching my arse at the first bonfire. This run is insane. I don't know how you stay so calm. Well done!
for me, Glitchless is the real deal, the planning, the execution, killing each boss that needs to be killed to win the game, the weapon, the combos, the small buffs, each of these minor factors can influence your run, and yet watching one that does everything right is beautiful !
Watching souls games played at such skill is really something, but I'm happy to be among the not so great players, I'd take getting fucked up with finesse over being a PvP god any day lol. Especially when they're using goofy ass weapons..😂
He used several glitches. Like in the Princes fight and the beginning of fort faroth. I don't know why they call it glitchless.

The farron keep jump was already a bit of stretch but the lothric fight was definitely a glitch imo.
@@TheWeen344 @tututa534 its not a "glitch" in the community, the boss just can't see you, but if you hit the older prince or go in the front, it fights back normally
I don't especially seek out speedruns, but its so satisfying to see the bosses get absolutely bodied lol. Shows how much skill goes into these runs. Congrats
Those quick steps to cancel the fall damage and animation is so satisfying I’ve never seen that before
They were discovered pretty recently, approximately when Elden Ring was released so they’re kinda new to lots of people

Wow! Question - why do you rapidly equip and unequip your straight sword periodically throughout the run? Congrats on the run 🥳
Thank you. Anri Straight Sword heals your hp per certain amount of time, but unequipping and equipping it back resets the heal timer so you heal hp faster

Hi dude thank you so so much for your guide to speedrun this game. I really love this game so bad and I always try to speedrun the game and ended up with 2:10:00s but now I managed to finish the game in 1:19:11 with dying against Pontiff and Lord of Cinder my goal is 1:10:00s

How is it compared to recent patches? I’m new to speed running.
@@Warlock_Sack bleed buildup isn’t that fast as the patch that they are playing on and it seems there damage more stronger than the newest patch. It basically 1 min slower that means you can’t the world record (I think) if you’re playing the game on ps5. I don’t care tbh I managed yesterday to finish the game within 10:00:31 the run in my channel

@@Tappeto_Volante Its not a wrong warp. If you skip cutscene, appear in Flameless Shrine and use either Dark Sign or Homeward Bone with a choice “To Last Rested” - it will put you automatically to Kiln of the First Flame. And about princes, i said - pinned comment

I've watched quite a few DS speedruns, never noticed that you could use quickstep to negate fall damage. That's pretty cool! Does it also work on Elden Ring (since it's the same engine etc)?
No, unfortunately it doesnt, but you dont need it there really, Elden Ring has a weird fall damage system tbh

perfect run. I don't understand why you kill Anri and equip de-equip their weapon. Well played gratz
The point of killing Anri is to get his sword so you can kill Watchers and Wolnir with pretty good damage without spending too much time on it. Anri Straight Sword damage is almost equal of Raw+1 Shortsword damage, but since you have to go to firelink, it takes in avg ~20 seconds more than killing Anri, but ofc killing Anri involves lots of risks. And speaking of equipping/unequipping his sword - this sword heals your hp, but it has a bit of a cooldown between healing ticks, and equipping and unequipping removes the cooldown completely which allows to heal slightly faster

he just rolls down the edges when falling to avoid fall damage it seems,it isnt a glitch the legitimate way is to climb down that ladder,the area just didnt load in.

Yeah fdcs (fall damage cancels) are considered glitchless according to ruleset of this category on speedrun.com

How is this glichless when you totally glich Twin Princes out so that they do not move at all? Those rules are fucking dogsh1t if this is allowed and they call it glichless. I get that games are super exploitable and there has to be a compromise and there are 1000 things to exploit and things you can not even verify on video but straight up allowing people to make bosses completely bug out is just stupid.
And that "its not an AI glich, he just cant see me" excuse does not work for me AT ALL. Its an exploit that makes the AI freeze so it does not matter what you call it, it has no place in runs that are declared glichless, specifically because its soooo easy to see and just disallow WTF is the point in allowing this?
Ruleset is decided by community who actually invests lots of time into learning this game and how it works and if a random person like you, who pretty sure has never done a single run or tried even tinkering a bit into this, says agressively af that: "Rules are dumb and dogshit" - well unlucky for you, nobody gonna make excuses just to please you. If you dont like the rules and runs like this - ignore them, is it too complicated?
There is even a cata special for people like you. It's called True Glitchless. Even if every runner in the community decided to support the opinion that frozen princes is a glitch so it shall not be allowed in glitchless categories (which is not gonna happend) it's too late to change anything.
Damn thats a flawless run, im really impressed, I have a question, you chose a female character because of a slightly change of time needed to reach full speed and maybe animations? Ive seen in a video that explained in Ds1 they did something like that, but i dont know if its also a thing in Ds3

Glitchless really rustles my jimmies. I dont think the runners know what a glitch is. I mean, do they really think going over a ledge using a vase is ok? rolling in mid air to negate fall damage!?! the leaderboards should be cleared; the category is corrupted. Hell, one should be DQed if they animation cancel because I tellin you there is no way that was intended by the creators
