Ginge1990 Lol German? Quality? That’s funny. Most German cars such as Benz, VW, and BMW have parts that constantly fail and cost an arm and leg to fix. A German car won’t outlast it, and that’s a fact. Parts on this Jeep are simple, not overly engineered and affordable and can last a long time. It was built to last. And it does it’s job as I personally own one. It’s a 20 year old car and it runs amazing for its age. A lot of the 20 year old cars that you see in junk yards or on a tow truck are German.

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited and the 5.2l 318 is an amazing engine. Had mine for about two years and nothing ever went wrong with it. Gas consumption really isn't bad. 14 mpg average but i straight piped mine with a chip and its nasty. Loud, fast, and bullet proof engine. Never got stuck and 4x4 a lot. Towing is good for my quads. I'm honestly in love with this Jeep and never want to get rid of it. Props to Jeep for the SUV of the 1900's!!
I'm a huge fan Kyle. By far my favorite video. I'm a huge Jeep enthusiast. ONLY IN A JEEP! 5.9 Grand Cherokees are bad ass......these rigs don't mess around.
I’ve had one of these for just over 4 years. Overall a good car. Very powerful and great in the snow. Very good interior quality. My only complaints are the bad gas mileage ( but kinda expected with a 5.9 V8 ) and that the feel of the steering is not the greatest.
Selling mine. She will be missed. EDIT: One year later. I haven’t gotten over the loss 😭😭😭 I have to get another. There’s just nothing else out there like it. If you have one, don’t sell it! You’ll regret it...BIG TIME

I do a lot of business across the Middle East, and on one of my trips I came across a 1998 JGC 5.9 that had ZERO miles on it, shit the seats were still covered in factory plastic, the guy owns a big showroom with all kinds of American and German cars that he had been stacking up since the 70s all of them are BRAND NEW CLASSICS and have all the fluids drained out of them to preserve them, that place looked like heaven to me LOL, he was asking $15K for the Grand Cherokee. This 5.9 had 16MPG average according to the video. I guess it's really up to the driver and conditions too. My favorite Grand Cherokee of all time! Yes I even like it better than the SRT8.
I love jeep grand cherokee limited 1998
I do a lot of business across the Middle East, and on one of my trips I came across a 1998 JGC 5.9 that had ZERO miles on it, shit the seats were still covered in factory plastic, the guy owns a big showroom with all kinds of American and German cars that he had been stacking up since the 70s all of them are BRAND NEW CLASSICS and have all the fluids drained out of them to preserve them, that place looked like heaven to me LOL, he was asking $15K for the Grand Cherokee. I wanted that Jeep so bad
Nice wagon in excellent shape, engine sounds great also.
I like the position you put the camera at 7:48! You should do that with all your videos.
Hey, could you put the sound of that V8 revving on a CD and put it on sale ? Haha, I'm sure a lot of people would buy it!
I USED TO HAVE THIS VEHICLE , EXCEPT BUT ON MODEL LAREDO AND COLOR RED IN 2006. NICE VEHICLE THOUGH!!
I like that horn sound on the 1998 Jeep grand Cherokee 5.9! It’s a 2 note horn it’s a F# And A horn!
I have this same jeep! Bought it yesterday for $800, with 256k miles. Charcoal grey. Needs a trans sensor and a window.
I bought one of these, the v6 version though, for 850 ;) and it runs like a champ!
I have a deep slate one, 195k miles on it, still going.
I have a slate one as well, bought it new in '98. Just about to roll over 300k miles, never getting rid of it, going strong.
Man oh man! Bring the old 360 back! The sound of the Hemi doesn't even compare to this!
My dads grandma had a 02 Cadillac in the mountains the cars is still there but it’s more reliable than a Mercedes from 07 the exhaust is a champ
My girl friend drives one still going strong they las for ever!!!
Those seats are so comfy
best video yet... mostly because of the jeep
can always rely on your jeep

I have the very same 98 Jeep, same color, everything about it is the very same including overall condition. Yes they are very awesome, fast and much fun to drive. It turns lots of heads, this perticular model is getting rare.
Gas consumption ain't bad pending how you treat your right foot, lol.
Wouldn't trade it for anything else.
This 5.9 had 16MPG average according to the video. I guess it's really up to the driver and conditions too. A 5l+ gas V8 in an SUV isn't exactly the most fuel efficient thing out there but I reckon you can drive it relatively cheaply (especially in the US where the gas prices are half of that of the rest of the world almost)
wow
Gotta love those Driver Information system beeps of failure!!!
Gamer All901 I had one and it always said something was wrong. I just unplugged it lol
I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Lerado (Dark Green) 4.0
Chris Music you like it?
Stuff stuff and More stuff Yeah, I love it to death. (Mine at least) drives so good and smooth)
I have a white one, almost 20 years later keeps running like a bitch, I can imagine how beautiful would be own a 5.9
I love riding with the overdrive off give the car a totally different feel. Very very smooth acceleration
4 people obviously don't understand just how mighty this Grand Cherokee really is!!! Pay attention
I have a black 5.9,
I miss my 94 grand cherokee!!
