    The 241's are great for both dirt and pavement.

    Excellent video, and I had the same experience with the 244's on a modified RadMini. Super planted on pavement and dirt, and in the first mile I was looking for jumps to hit. I could turn up the power to compensate for the weight, but efficiency took a big hit. It normally takes about 180 watts to cruise at 15mph, but with the Shinkos it was 400 watts to maintain the same speed. The tread blocks scrunch together when they meet the pavement, and that friction is what causes the drag. I switched back to stock tires for summer, and will probably use the 244's for winter riding in snow. Thanks again for the video!

      do you have any videos of this mythical radmini that can supposedly hit 40-50 mph and do jumps? you are so full of shit and it's weird to lie to strangers on the internet about what your bike can do. I had a modified radrunner plus with a way better motor (2kw peak) and it still only hit 34 mph... also there's no way the rad bikes can take jumps consistently. they are not made for that, you will break your bike doing that shit. the suspension isn't good enough.

      I subscribed, definitely looking forward to the video you'll make on this mythical beast.

      If it wasn't too easy to acquire flats, the stock tires would be awesome.

    Nice video. Im running a 244 on the rear & stock tire on the front to cut down on weight. I ride 90% street, so i plan on getting supermotos at some point.

      Are Shinko244 tires not compatible with 1,60x19”?

    If you ever get the 241s I’d love a review/ comparison between the 241s and the 244s I’m trying to decide on which ones to go with all things considered(weight,which are better in the street, which are better on trails etc.)

    • @hunteronthebike
      @hunteronthebike  Год назад +1

      Thank you for watching! I have a couple friends with the 241’s. They feel very similar, and are almost the exact same weight. The 241’s are slightly better for off road in my opinion.

    @bradn1559 7 месяцев назад +2

    Nice job! I hear the 241are lil better all around tire. But I don’t like the tread pattern that much. Think the 244’s still have a bit of an aggressive look that I want.

      244s out perform the 241s in all situations except jumping your bike from boulder to boulder which requires a flatter patch to maintain balance. 241s were designed for trials work where 244's were designed for dual sport.
      244's are the only choice for those in the know.

      2.75 is the width of the tire, so anything in that 2.5 - 2.75 - 3 range should work

      The tires are the 2.75x19 size. I don’t remember exactly what brand tube I got, but they are 2.5-3.0 x 19 size.
