I love how people complain about the tc500 being a junk controller or a beginner controller for stock batteries yet I like it more than my x9000. I also feel like everyone is running it now.
If I get around 25 miles of range on my stock battery, how much will I get on this? I ride street and run 6kw and 350 phase amps in eco, and 8.6kw and 500 phase amps in sport. If I run only eco how many miles of range will I get? I estimate I can get around 35 miles of range, is this correct?
I haven’t done any range test where I measured, but I have personally noticed a fair amount of increase in range with this battery. I usually run 12kw, so I imagine if you’re pushing less you’ll get even more range.
Yo i seen how 15kw is the peak kw can you run more and still have it be safe. Also u think this has more range then the 72v 38ah. You should do a range test to see how good it is
As far as the 15kw, I’ve only been pushing it to that level with my torp controller (just don’t want to risk it, not sure what would happen if I tried to push it to more). I definitely want to do a range test in the future, but yeah in theory the 72v 40ah should last slightly longer than the 72v 38ah
@@hunteronthebike yea thats what i was thinking too the extra 2ah and different cells i feel would last longer. Please do one soon im planning to get a 72v very soon, im fine with just pushing 15kw if it has alot more range. But i do want the 38ah so i can push over 20kw
Yessir! Stock motor works perfectly for this power output. The surge’s max KW output is 15, and the stock motor is rated to handle up to 15kw. @@smartmineyt
Great video would love a range test!
Thank you! I’m probably going to do one in the future! 🫡

Yeah I agree, I have no idea why people don’t like it. It’s literally the easiest to use, and I rarely hear of people having issues with it.
@@hunteronthebike Yup. It’s one controller that’s literally plug-in play
Exactly @@windowwasherfpv3485
Mine comes on Wednesday so hyped
💪🏼💪🏼 hell yeah you’re gonna love it
@@hunteronthebike can you use this battery with a stock controler. Someone told me you could. is this true?
@@GavinBlatt-ml5yx not this one, you can use the Chi 60v and 66v batteries with the stock controller though. Not the 72v batteries.
im loving the content
Thank you! 🫡
Great video! Can you show all settings in the Torp app and a top speed in next one? Field weakening, throttle curve, etc.
Thank you! Great idea, I will probably do an in depth video about the Torp soon!
Great video. How do you set the battery up to do the speed you want or amps you want kw you want. Is it an app you use ? Or computer with usb plug in
The controller I have (Torp TC500) has an app that makes it easy to configure everything
What’s the plug for you no longer use? And I’m brand new to e bikes so just curious do you have to upgrade controller to be able to run 72v batteries?

Would you get the chi 72v 45ah pulsar or the ebmx 72v 45ah?
Personally I’d go with the Chi @@alexp7824

Yup!

@@hunteronthebike awesome ty
How long is charge time to 100% from low
I’m not sure, haven’t really timed it. I also just have the small charger that isn’t super fast.
