This video is very helpful. I never realized that I had too much icing in the bag while doing detail work. Changing to a smaller amount is a game changer! Thanks so much!
i have been struggling with my icing curling when piping details and it had never occurred to me it was because I needed a looser consistency!!! You're a LIFE SAVER with this video, seriously. Thank you so so so much!!!
This is the most amazing video on how to pipe thin lines properly! I always have had blobs starting and stopping my lines and this helps so much to explain how to avoid doing that. I also had my icing too thick for the bag's hole size, and now will try thinning the icing a bit. Thank you so much for giving us your expertise!! 🥰❤
Thank you so much for the video. I did find a couple of things that were very helpful and will help me with getting better at what I love to do. Thank you so much.
I have your bags and cut the bag exactly as shown - EVERY time my cut looks straight until I try to pipe and then I realize my cut is concave.. the ridges of the seams are still slightly there and my icing curls. I will cut it again and the cut is flatter, however, the hole is now bigger. Sometimes that is not a problem as I want the hole bigger, but I cannot for the life of me get a tiny hole cut without the ridges of the seam causing issues. I have tried numerous scissors all with the same result. WHAT am I doing wrong? It's so frustrating and shouldn't be that hard!!!
Actually, make a video of what you’re doing and message it to us on IG; we can sit and talk all day but until we see it, we are gonna be talking in circles 😆
That was one of the most helpful royal icing tutorials I've seen online! 👏👏🙏 thank you!

Are you using your finger to really squeeze hard to flatten the tip of the bag?
