Take your time to marvel at a painting of van Eyck or Rembrandt, then move on to some modern art 'installation' of these days. You'll pretty much have a similar reaction as this viking village...
@@heno02 Well i am sure there was fewer people with oppressive tendencies back then, in this day and age Scandinavians choose their ruler to decide just about everything for them. Actually i soon expect it will be made illegal to wipe your own behind, CUZ god forbid you should do it wrong and get poop on your hands. I think there is a South part episode that touch up on this issue. Also expect to see a breathing tax sooner or later.
@@pliashmuldba Well apart from the things you list, that sounds more like things conjured up in someones imagination, than what is actually real, even Norways shift from the tribal society of the viking era to feudalism was a huge improvement. So needless to say, our modern society is a wast improvement over what we had before. Life has never been better, as I feel it.

I love Christian mythology and I think they have many good advices but many quotes like that mostly comply to those already read the bible or on the way to convert. You have to go back a few steps and deliver us some more down to earth quotes.
@@nanach6276 it has to do with objective morality. It’s simple. If objective morality exists, Jesus is anyone’s only possible way out of condemnation because nobody is morally perfect. Every other religion says you have to be “good enough” to “earn” the reward... but we know nobody is on the same level and therefore there is no set bar... Jesus said nobody is good enough for God’s standard, and therefore offers us his perfect righteousness on our behalf by grace, as a free gift...
How I wish there were more seasons of this show. The humour and the background to the stories are unique and hillarious.
