I watched bits and pieces with my dad when he started watching it, it is really funny. It also feels a bit more natural compared to a lot of the Star Treks because of the humor in the show.

But some families didnt want to turn their female babies to male so transported to the babies to an empty planet. ever since they have been trying to evacuate every female baby they can reach but were accidently exposed. Mocklens learned about their existance and werent happy about it. They tried to kidnap and torture a female they captured to get the location of this place. But the managed to get under Unions protection so this plan failed and Mocklens were kicked out of the Union. Union is allience between a few planets with different alien species
The Mocklen where not kick out, they left. The entire premise was of they don't get their way, they will leave and not provide weapons for the war effort against the robots.

Don't know how this goes down in the show but my concern would be that bringing this planet to the attention of the Union would also allow the Mocklans to find them. While the counsel is in deliberation, the Mocklans could attack.
But, most likely if the Union recognize it as a independent nation, quick enough it would cause The Mocklans to back down as even if they do succeed they would lose a lot of support in the union
He's a horrible leader the entire crew are some of the most unprofessional people in the show and make hugely stupid decisions only to run back to their government when THEY fucked up, but the show wouldn't be funny or entertaining
The only problem with this whole situation is that the women appear to have developed breasts, which seems out of place for an egg-laying species. (But the social theme is a good parallel for various civil rights movements regarding the LGBTQ+ community.)

I love this show....it's like he's just making his own Star Trek TNG episodes...the humor is a little raunchier at times but, I think that would have been great in the original show. I just buy into the melodrama more when it is framed by hearty, gut laughs 😅

I don’t get that the female Moclan would settle on a planet not similar to their own? Like they spend their entire live in a rocky desert, so to them it probably would be more comfortable and similar to where they used to live. So easier to settle. Also a forest planet would be a popular place for people from temperard environments to settle in so they would be found out more faster. Extreme environments like ice and desert are lease likely to have people finding them sense lesser people would want to settle on those planets.
This episode was so stupid. They should have deleted all logs of this place and swore the crew to secrecy. Bringing this place into the light was only going to end up how it did.
