I suspect that this voice is used in the prototype, but since the player can read for a long time and not press the button, and the voice can go further, the developer decided to abandon this idea.
Would looove it if this voice will either be an unlocksble or mod for the remake. After the newest trailer of it I have full faith in Bloober Team to do it right! 😭
@uNnHkP8mza if it's anything like the re2 remake or just the original game with graphical tweaks and better voice acting, I don't think we have to worry

I don't even hold anything against the people who made Homecoming since much of it's worst attributes were insisted on by Konami and they didn't have the ability to fight back like Team Silent had had.
I get why they removed that (along with the pillow screams), but dear goodness, they are both great. Well done, Monica Taylor Horgan. 👏🏻
