@GuyOnAChair he's an actor and in this conversation he mentioned that he saw the scenes online, so when he was working on the game, those scenes were not even rendered. So he will have no clue about the first impressions and how the rendering was changed. That is more appropriate to ask the developers and not the actor

I adore Guy Cihi and how he created James as a character, love to hear his insights and some of the lines he delivered are brilliant. But I gotta say, Luke and his portrayal in the remake blew me away. Especially with the little nuances and subtleties in his performance. I love how Bloober made all of the characters feel alive and real while still maintaining that dreamlike weirdness of the original. While the story remained the same, I really felt bad for James this time around and got very emotional just watching the scenes play out while I didn't feel that connection with him in the original. (The "Stillness" ending... gosh...) Luke did a fantastic job, so did all the other actors in the remake. Much love to them. Thanks for the interview!
I've never felt connected to a character in such a long time, it's all bcoz of how Luke played James to his core. Nothing short of spectacular and deserves all the accolades.
The amount of respect and honestly he's giving to the original game is so wonderful. No smoke and mirror about it and he seems to really appreciate it.
YAY really been looking forward to this! He is so outrageously talented and handsome.. don't think I've heard a single person dislike what he did. His performance was stunning, every single line and expression
Unfortunately, I have seen some derogatory comments about the acting, including Luke.. I don't understand what these people want; in my opinion, the whole team did a great job, especially Mr. Roberts. His facial expressions are incredible💞
I cant even begin to tell you how much i appreciate everyones work on this project. Thank you for interviewing this phenomenal actor. Luke was fantastic in this. He appears to be very kind and well spoken. Game of the year!!

I'd really love to hear from the actor for Maria/Mary as well and her process through all of this. Loving these insightful interviews highlighting the talent that goes into these performamces👏
To reiterate the comment someone else made, I really do agree that Luke’s portrayal does define an unusual kind of novel approach to video game acting. It is extremely naturalistic. And games, to their detriment, do not do that often enough.
this is fantastic, luke roberts is such a nice and kind person and seeing how much he loved being able to play as james and how he adored all the people behind the game was so heartwarming. i hope we can get to see him again in other games as well
I think Roberts perfectly gets across the fact that James does not know how to relate to (or even communicate with) either Angela or Eddie. It becomes a hint really early on that he’s not a great person and probably has something going on.
I don't think so that's true in that sense. What he did was something he regrets so much that he takes himself on this journey. But in term of Angela or Eddie, he just doesn't know how to help or what to exactly do
Luke Roberts is such an amazing person and actor, no debate whatsoever. This is going to sound like absolute blasphemy, but I'm legitimately shocked to say that I may actually prefer remake James over the original. As someone who has dealt with depression, I think he absolutely nailed it. It's not necessarily being "sad", but just feeling mentally "numb", as you said. It's funny how everyone was saying James seemed too emotional in the reveal trailer, but ironically, they've addressed that so incredibly well, that dare I say the original James was actually a bit more emotional at times than remake James. Either way, Luke Roberts knocked it out of the park. The reason why Silent Hill 2 it became a classic is because eventually people began to see how unique, eerie, melancholic and authentic the game's atmosphere it really is, and took the time to enjoy its deeply thoughtful narrative and symbolism. The soundtracks of SH2 are so Iconic and Divine. 🎶☯️🎶To this day it’s by far one of, if not the most mature examination of grief, sexual trauma, suicide, and morality all combined. It’s an intelligent game that does not hold anyone’s hand and comes at the player with utmost confidence in itself. It’s fantastic stuff. The rest of the original 4 are great in their own right and have their own well written stories, but they don’t hold the same emotional weight to them. I think SH2’s maturity by comparison is something that a lot of people are drawn to. ☯️
WOW this is really well said. The limitations of the original was it was not able to convey the emotional feelings so well and that's the advantage of the new technology. Now games can show that in much detail, making it easier for actors to act in the way they would do in any other medium, giving a much more authentic experience
I've been itching to hear more of Luke Roberts' insights acting as James. I am mesmerized by his facial expressions throughout cinematics (my fav is after the tape scene). Great interview!!
I still wince every time he lets out that unhinged scream when stomping on enemies lol. Truly a dedicated performer, one of the best I've seen/heard, honestly.
I was constantly blown away by Luke's performance throughout this game - it's so far beyond anything I could have imagined, playing the original SH2 back in 2003.

46:53 thats a really interesting question, his response actually made me realize how important it is to have these actors play out these characters that would never exist in the real world, it lends us a deeper view into the human mind. you have to really put yourself in these characters' shoes and dedicate yourself to immersing in their world
he is a phenomenal voice actor, he did such an amazing work as James. So much emotion in his voice, and what bloober did with his facial expressions as well is something phenomenal. hope to see him in more projects and i hope he wins lots of awards.
best game of the year and amazing actor, the remake is really a love letter to all the people who grew up during the golden era of psychological horror games. Thank you Bloober, thank you Luke ❤️🙏🏻
Good stuff man, I was confused why those actors aren’t doing interviews after such bombshell..Do one with Gianna sometime, I really liked how she handled voice acting of Angela.
The Last of Us Part I, Alan Wake 2 and now Silent Hill 2 Remake. I played these games this year, for the very first time, and I've been blown away. Three times. The acting was exceptional on each game. It will be hard to raise that bar higher.
Thank you for making this with him. I loved Luke’s portrayal. His interviews are great to watch although there aren’t many, he deserves more recognition. I’d love to see him in a big film role.
Luke is amazing and it was wonderful to talk to him. He's some done incredible shows and he's also played Thomas Wayne in The Batman but it was a much smaller role
Luke! From the deepest bottom of my heart, thank you and the rest of the actors for your incredible performances in this remake. Y’all have no idea just how much these characters and this story mean to so many of us. And y’all did the original masterpiece SUCH justice! My favourite moments are the ones between James and Angela (who’s always been my fave character), especially that new scene added in the remake of James and Angela. I cried more than once throughout my first playthrough. Y’all really gave the characters and the delicate themes of the story the passion and attention they deserved for a remake. Thank you! 🖤🙏🥹 Silent Hill 2 is not only one of the greatest horror games of all time, it’s not only one of the greatest horror works across all mediums of all time, Silent Hill 2 is one of the greatest human achievements of all time, and I’m so happy to have two groundbreaking versions of it now to enjoy again and again for the rest of my life! 🥹🖤🙏
Great interview, very impressed and happy for you and your channel to get such a variety of actors on. Luke in particular floored me with his performance, I wasn’t sure about it at first being more grounded than the og’s take on James, but man was his VA and the facial animations combined incredible. I hope this man gets a lot more work his way, and I hope you continue to have more great interviews with the people behind the voice (swear to god I typed that out before recognizing the irony)
He absolutely killed it in this role, and it was nice hearing a long format interview with him. He'll probably win the best VA at the game awards this year i think.

This man won me over to the new James so quickly and really added to my appreciation to the character. Not to undersell his performance, but all of the cast did incredible. If it's possible, do you think you could interview them, too? They had really big shoes to fill as well.
Luke did so good in the remake. I really enjoyed his take on James. So many little micro expressions and just using body language. I love seeing that stuff lately in games. All the voice actors did a fantastic job. Seriously I would love to see a interview for Angela's va because good LORD did she break my heart and I mean that as a compliment.
It's wonderful to see such care being taken by video game writers and voice/facial capture actors. You can get to the heart of who a character is in a very personal and intimate way, when you're controlling their actions over the course of a 10-20 hour game
This is just one of those cases of a perfect casting choice giving a perfect performance in a perfect game. One of those entertainment experiences that makes you happy that you existed in the time it came out.

Luke was incredible as James, I loved all the details, and knowing the behind the scenes makes it even better. I really hope he gets as many awards as possible because he deserves it.
This was an absolutely masterful performance. I was stunned. Definitely my pick for best performance of the year. This game hit me hard again after all these years, and Luke's performance is really what set it a tier above the rest and breathed new life into an old classic.
44:38 Gotta admit Luke Roberts playing Max Payne (in a remake) is something I didn’t realize I needed until this moment... Put my vote down for a big time YES to that!
Thanks for asking him my question! I absolutely love how he responded to it. I get how, as an actor, you can’t cast too much judgement on your character, so it was interesting hearing how he played it. From my perspective, I find it hard to judge James fairly. It would be easily to condemn him and brand him as a monster, but I have not been through the many years of hardship he went through, and I honestly do not know what I might do if put in his position. I think what James did was monstrous and, while part of the reason he did it was an act of mercy, he himself admits that much of it came down to selfishness. I don’t think James is a good person, as he failed the ultimate test of morality and robbed his wife of what dignity she might’ve had in her limited time left on Earth, but a true monster would not feel the extreme guilt he does and seek atonement so desperately. To put it simply, I think James is human.
There really is no dignity to remain after your health goes through a journey like she did. She wasn't getting better. And everything was getting worse. Is "dignity" more important than "My wife is suffering. I can't take it anymore" ?
@ What I mean is that there was no autonomy for her in the end. Sure, the disease robbed her of most of her dignity, but she still deserved to have the decision over how to die (within the purview of the current circumstances). It was not James’ decision to make. He does not get to choose what happens to her or her body. He could’ve had an honest conversation with her about euthanasia, but instead he chose not to since he knew she might’ve said no. Mary died confused, scared and screaming. She died feeling betrayed by the man who promised to stay by her side and care for her, in sickness and in health. And I’ll just say, framing “I can’t take it anymore” to be the priority here is inherently selfish and doesn’t present a good case for James. A good husband would have stayed by her side and cared for her until whenever she decided the end was. She told him that she didn’t want to die, and he chose to ignore that. Again, I’m not saying he’s a bad person through at his core, but what he did to Mary was terrible.
@@garyking1986 At that point. That wasn't even really Mary anymore. It's hard to put into words. If you've dealt with someone dying of a disease, you might get what I'm trying to say. I don't wanna like. Assume you did or did not, that's rude. To him she's been dead for three years while the actual murder was just a few days ago to snuff out the monster wearing Mary's face. From his pov anyway.
@@rosenrot234 I still feel that you're trying to take accountability away from him in a way. Please understand that he was of sound mind and body when he made his decision, and no amount of watching his wife suffer nor her being mean to him would change that. A common analysis of the original is that James imagines Mary died three years ago because it's confirmed that's when she received her diagnosis. From that point, she was dead to him. I appreciate your respectfulness towards me though. I haven't gone through exactly what James did, but my family and I are currently dealing with a close relative's worsening illness. I just don't want to pivot my entire argument around my experience with that as I feel my points would hold as much merit if said by anyone.
@@garyking1986 I hope my text didn't come off as combative. I know Silent Hill kinda treats its characters like ink blot tests. So a few details are different for each folks. And yeah bud I wouldn't wanna make you talk about something you don't want to.
Luke Roberts should be the new Max Payne. We don't have James Mcaffrey sadly (RIP), but if there's anyone I feel could do it Justice, this here is the guy.

A great interview, well done! Loved seeing Luke's insights to the whole experience and what his view is on different aspects regarding the game, its characters and themes. How much longer is the extended episode?
SH2R is easily GOTY material, perhaps even the best video game remake ever produced...and Luke's complete renaissance of a performance as James (along with Salome and Gianna as Mary/Maria and Angela) is such a large part of why that is fact.

that one scene towards the end when he screams at what the two pyramid heads have done is so visceral and awesome. Literally shows a single moment when James finally unleashes the pent up frustration. Fantastic acting by this guy.
I've been a fan of Luke Roberts since the last season of the underrated Black Sails. I'm glad that he's finally getting more recognition even if its through the video game format. Lets give him an award in the VGAs so he sees that appreciation.
I don't think its ever bad to get recognition from video game projects. At the end of the day, movies, tv shows, theatre, video games, animation, its all acting
Luke's portrayal of James' experience in Silent Hill went well beyond what I expected. I've played twice and will be replaying until I get all of the trophies. It's not easy to enhance and improve upon a nostalgic classic. Bloober and the team of actors did well beyond amazing!
I haven't started the video yet LOL but wanted to say that Luke's James really made me see and understand why Mary fell in love with him (I'm straight up in love with remake James despite knowing what happens LOL) how he's able to capture the inner battle and conflicting emotions of James in just eye movements alone is insane to me, and really cements a place in my heart alongside Guy Cihi's James ✨💖💖💖✨
He did such a great job with it! Couldn't have been better, really. Hope to see (and hear) more of him - he's been great in Black Sails and GoT as well and really able to portray extremely different characters. He's a great actor for sure!

But in term of Angela or Eddie, he just doesn't know how to help or what to exactly do
he is so proud of his work, and rightfully so.
Absolutely!
Well said, I feel the same way.
WOW this is really well said.
The limitations of the original was it was not able to convey the emotional feelings so well and that's the advantage of the new technology. Now games can show that in much detail, making it easier for actors to act in the way they would do in any other medium, giving a much more authentic experience
00:57 He knew _exactly_ what he was doing.
I've been itching to hear more of Luke Roberts' insights acting as James. I am mesmerized by his facial expressions throughout cinematics (my fav is after the tape scene). Great interview!!
Thank you so much. He actually talks a bit more about some spoiler sections and it will be available in the extended version
@@BehindTheVoicePod 👀
THIS. and the lip biting scene after speaking to Laura in the hospital. So subtle, so good.
I still wince every time he lets out that unhinged scream when stomping on enemies lol. Truly a dedicated performer, one of the best I've seen/heard, honestly.
oh yaa right!
Luke Roberts did a great job and honoured our favourite game with all his heart. Thank you for this episode!
Thank YOU so much for watching
Luke Roberts was phenomenal as James!
Absolutely
I was constantly blown away by Luke's performance throughout this game - it's so far beyond anything I could have imagined, playing the original SH2 back in 2003.
That's awesome!! What is your fav or top 3 from the remake?
Nobody saw how good he would be coming. Nobody.
He did a fantastic job. Won’t be surprised if he wins at the VGA’s this year. 100% deserves it.
Absolutely! And you can also vote for him in the award show I'm hosting. Its called GameFest Game Awards and it will also raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer. Link is in the description if you are interested
I just realised yesterday that Luke also played Thomas Wayne in The Batman, I hope he appears in more flashbacks in The Batman 2! Absolutely stellar actor and overall bloke
Yaa he did. I don't think if he'll be in The Batman 2 but even if he did, he probably won't be able to tell. But yaa he's just incredible
He’s talented, handsome and not insufferable like Troy Baker??! I STAN
Yeah...both extremely talented, but Troy let it go to his head. At least we have Roger Clark and now, we get to have Luke.
Amazing acting to the point didn’t know he a British. Wow what a range of accent he has! Amazing portrayal of James that i never forget. And i love how he so well spoken too! i just wish i could see him more in videos games in future!
I'm definitely sure he'll be in more games
Luke is such a talent! Amazing performance in SH2 remake. Thank you for this interview
He's just the best. Thank you so much for watching
46:53 thats a really interesting question, his response actually made me realize how important it is to have these actors play out these characters that would never exist in the real world, it lends us a deeper view into the human mind. you have to really put yourself in these characters' shoes and dedicate yourself to immersing in their world
Absolutely. As an actor, you have to be that person and not just say lines you know
he is a phenomenal voice actor, he did such an amazing work as James. So much emotion in his voice, and what bloober did with his facial expressions as well is something phenomenal. hope to see him in more projects and i hope he wins lots of awards.
Yaa he has done such a wonderful job and emotionally connected me to James
best game of the year and amazing actor, the remake is really a love letter to all the people who grew up during the golden era of psychological horror games. Thank you Bloober, thank you Luke ❤️🙏🏻
Absolutely! Its one of my fav games
Good stuff man, I was confused why those actors aren’t doing interviews after such bombshell..Do one with Gianna sometime, I really liked how she handled voice acting of Angela.
Thank you so much for watching. I would absolutely love to
The Last of Us Part I, Alan Wake 2 and now Silent Hill 2 Remake. I played these games this year, for the very first time, and I've been blown away. Three times. The acting was exceptional on each game. It will be hard to raise that bar higher.
That's so cool that you got to play all 3 of these. These are such wonderful games and as you said, sets the bar high
Absolutely nailed it. He is so good at both expressions and voice control. I don't think they could have found a better actor
He's just so talented
Thank you for making this with him. I loved Luke’s portrayal. His interviews are great to watch although there aren’t many, he deserves more recognition. I’d love to see him in a big film role.
Luke is amazing and it was wonderful to talk to him. He's some done incredible shows and he's also played Thomas Wayne in The Batman but it was a much smaller role
@ I know. :( He did incredible as Thomas Wayne!
Thank you! 🖤🙏🥹
Silent Hill 2 is not only one of the greatest horror games of all time, it’s not only one of the greatest horror works across all mediums of all time, Silent Hill 2 is one of the greatest human achievements of all time, and I’m so happy to have two groundbreaking versions of it now to enjoy again and again for the rest of my life! 🥹🖤🙏
This is incredible!! I'm so happy that Silent Hill 2 Remake connected so much with you
Great interview, very impressed and happy for you and your channel to get such a variety of actors on.
Luke in particular floored me with his performance, I wasn’t sure about it at first being more grounded than the og’s take on James, but man was his VA and the facial animations combined incredible. I hope this man gets a lot more work his way, and I hope you continue to have more great interviews with the people behind the voice (swear to god I typed that out before recognizing the irony)
haha that's awesome! Thank you so much for watching. Ya Luke just absolutely nailed it!
i loved his performance as james! couldn’t have imagined someone else playing him, thank you for the super cool interview!
Thank YOU so much for watching this
His performance is up there with Arthur Morgan, Joel and Lee Everett. Fantastic work
Totally agree
He absolutely killed it in this role, and it was nice hearing a long format interview with him. He'll probably win the best VA at the game awards this year i think.
I believe so and you know what, you can vote for him as well on the award show I'm hosting. Its called GameFest Game Awards and it will also raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer charity. Link is in the description if you are interested
This man won me over to the new James so quickly and really added to my appreciation to the character. Not to undersell his performance, but all of the cast did incredible. If it's possible, do you think you could interview them, too? They had really big shoes to fill as well.
Oh the other cast members? Ofcourse! I would love to
Luke did so good in the remake. I really enjoyed his take on James. So many little micro expressions and just using body language. I love seeing that stuff lately in games. All the voice actors did a fantastic job. Seriously I would love to see a interview for Angela's va because good LORD did she break my heart and I mean that as a compliment.
Yaa I totally understand what you mean. I would love to have her on the show
It's wonderful to see such care being taken by video game writers and voice/facial capture actors. You can get to the heart of who a character is in a very personal and intimate way, when you're controlling their actions over the course of a 10-20 hour game
For sure! All these actors and writers have done such a phenomenal job to bring characters like these to life
Luke did such a good job with his performance of James.
He did such a phenomenal job
Luke Roberts is the best James Sunderland of all the history of silent hill 2 versions, i love it, and for me is the best silent hill character.
Easily one of the best characters in horror games
This is just one of those cases of a perfect casting choice giving a perfect performance in a perfect game. One of those entertainment experiences that makes you happy that you existed in the time it came out.
Yaaa totally
35:25 hey men! This podcast is excellent. I've subscribed almost since inception and I love the way it has been growing specifically your confidence to interview/talk with your guests. This video is an excellent example of it. It has been a fluid chat and you can see how Luke is relaxed. Plus, perhaps because it's a small channel, you keep in touch with everyone that commented. In particular with me, I feel that I am interacting with you, chatting, sharing ideas, questions and I can see later on that you took something from what I said, shared or suggested. It feels like you are doing an honest job. You love what you are doing. Honestly, no one else is doing it. So, you found your place in this multiplatform content universe. Keep going. Thanks for this video. Love it!
This means the WORLD to me man. Thank you so much for saying this. I am so glad that you and everyone else like watching these episodes. Watching interviews like these is what I do almost on a daily basis. So its an honor to share their stories from video games
Luke was incredible as James, I loved all the details, and knowing the behind the scenes makes it even better. I really hope he gets as many awards as possible because he deserves it.
He totally deserves all the love
This was an absolutely masterful performance. I was stunned. Definitely my pick for best performance of the year. This game hit me hard again after all these years, and Luke's performance is really what set it a tier above the rest and breathed new life into an old classic.
Exactly my thoughts. I felt so many emotions with this remake
44:38 Gotta admit Luke Roberts playing Max Payne (in a remake) is something I didn’t realize I needed until this moment... Put my vote down for a big time YES to that!
hahaha yaa I can see him do that too
I loved the interview, but I was dying to see you ask Luke about the different endings, especially the joke ones.
We do talk about different endings but its not in this version of the conversation unfortunately
Man, He was soooo awesome in SH2. I was heavily invested in his character in the game. Bravo to his performance🎉🎉 He should get an award for this
I was heavily invested as well
"I don't need you anymore... I'm ready." Was so badass
That was one of my fav moments
Well he does love Max Payne. We actually talk a bit more about Max Payne but it will be available on the extended version
"It's guided imagination" is such a profound perspective that I had never thought of before
Great interview, thanks for doing this! Gosh his acting in the stillness ending floored me, real in a way that's hard to describe.
Thank YOU so much for watching
Luke Roberts now takes over my childhood back when I first discovered SH, he did so freaking good on his role and couldn't have been done any better!
I totally agree!!
Amazing interview as always! Luke was sooo incredible in the game 🤯... One of the best acting performances ever. He deserves all the awards!
Thank you so much for watching
When I saw on Twitter that you were gonna interview Luke Robert’s I got so excited! Can’t wait to watch this amazing video!
I hope you like it
I was Waiting for an interview with Luke Roberts SOOOO FREAKING BADLYY. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for this Interview i enjoyed it A LOT. Keep up the good work❤
Thank YOU so much for watching this. Was there any fav moment of yours from this conversation ?
Or what about your fav moment from the game?
@@BehindTheVoicePod Oh absolutely. in this interview I think my favourite part is when Luke was talking about how the behind-scenes of the first encounter with Pyramid head was like. it was really fun and cool.
And from the Game it's really hard to pick a favourite moment because i love ALL of it a lot BUT i think my favourite moment of them all would be James encountering The two pyramid heads That whole cutscene and fight Are INSANE And So freaking AWESOME.
Thanks so much Again for this awesome interview❤️
@theredone7980 absolutely! I love that scene as well because he finally faced them sort of his demons
One vote from me! His voice as James gives me an emotional feel in the entire game!😢
Me too!! So many scenes have given me that exact feeling.
A great interview, well done! Loved seeing Luke's insights to the whole experience and what his view is on different aspects regarding the game, its characters and themes. How much longer is the extended episode?
There's atleast 15 mins more conversation with some fun tid bits
@@BehindTheVoicePod Oooh okay, then I might consider becoming a member soon 👀
SH2R is easily GOTY material, perhaps even the best video game remake ever produced...and Luke's complete renaissance of a performance as James (along with Salome and Gianna as Mary/Maria and Angela) is such a large part of why that is fact.
Sorry but the best remake belong to RE1 remake
@@ismaill-0819 For Christ's sake, that's a cliche by now. Let it go.
@@andreseh87 That's a fact bro. Silent Hill 2 Remake is good no doubt but RE1 is the perfect example of how to do a remake of a classic.
That's OK man. Let someone else have their definition of "perfect", let them have that fun and appreciation. Everyone has their own takes and that's the best thing because at the end of the day, its all positive
Again again!! I loved it! 🩷🩷🩷 Luke is super amazing. Already a fan!! You can tell he enjoyed performing as James, honoring all that embodies his character so much he even is looking forward to his next MoCap! I can’t wait to see what’s next for him. Best wishes to him and thank you Abhi! Truly a great interview.❤
Thank you so much for watching this. Your support means a lot
that one scene towards the end when he screams at what the two pyramid heads have done is so visceral and awesome. Literally shows a single moment when James finally unleashes the pent up frustration. Fantastic acting by this guy.
Yaa that scream did show him being absolutely frustrated or kind of done with this
The expressions in the Stillness ending told me that this performance is something you don't see every day
That stillness ending broke my heart. I showed it to my sister even who has never seen this game and she said "its as if I'm watching a movie"
@@BehindTheVoicePod Yeah, what nailed the scene was James slowly about to break down as Mary caresses his face. Never seen anything like it.
Yeaa it was like a cherry on top
Luke and Bloober Team saved the Franchise from the Dead, greatest Remake in years
I agree
Luke Roberts is an absolute gem. I never once doubted he'd play a perfect James. Love him in everything he's done.
That's wonderful. He's done some fantastic roles in the past
Stillness man. This dude is a legend just for that ending. Amazing work.
I know!! That ending is sooo good
I've been a fan of Luke Roberts since the last season of the underrated Black Sails.
True. It is not an easy task and as Luke mentioned, Bloober Team are true devotees to the original and I guess that's why it worked
If Konami is still doing that Return to Silent Hill movie, they must reboot it and have Luke as James. I feel it's absolutely mandatory at this point
Oh dude! You took my words
This is MY James. This is the BEST version of Silent Hill 2 and its not even close.
That's amazing
He definitely deserves recognition. His performance was fantastic.
And he is getting that right now with all of you guys
Fantastic performance in that game, and lovely interview.
Thank you so much for watching
Give this man best actor this year
he ate this role up and left absolutely no crumbs, god i love this game
OH yaa right from Game of Thrones
I haven't started the video yet LOL but wanted to say that
Luke's James really made me see and understand why Mary fell in love with him (I'm straight up in love with remake James despite knowing what happens LOL)
how he's able to capture the inner battle and conflicting emotions of James in just eye movements alone is insane to me, and really cements a place in my heart alongside Guy Cihi's James ✨💖💖💖✨
Yaa I totally understand you. Its just so special
Holy smokes it's Woodes Rogers & Thomas Wayne, didn't even know. I love this guy
Yaa that he is!
He did a phenomenal job as James. Every scene in the game was incredible.
Absolutely! Every scene was so emotional
@@BehindTheVoicePoddefinitely. He really brought so emotion and nuances to James and I loved every moment of it
He did such a great job with it! Couldn't have been better, really. Hope to see (and hear) more of him - he's been great in Black Sails and GoT as well and really able to portray extremely different characters. He's a great actor for sure!
Oh yea he has played a number of characters in the past
He played James so well my favorite will always be the rope scene the facial expression there was just the best for me
There's just so much emotion caputred perfectly with this remake
He was easily the best actor of this game, added so much more depth to James that I didn’t even know was missing.
Yea man! Those emotions and the internal struggle that you just see in the game is insane
