Massive Attack- Daydreaming REACTION - Видеоклипы
MASSIVE ATTACK are Trip Hop Legends! I would listen to ANGEL next by them. Fire!
One of the best bands ever. I wonder why triphop is not so popular in the us. And tricky maaaaan what a hero
Massive Attack have so many fantastic songs. I can also highly suggest: Unfinished Sympathy, Protection, Three, Black Milk, Teardrop, Angel, Safe from harm, Rising son, Live With Me, Mezzanine, Karmacoma, I Against I
I vote for Risingson for the next reaction!
great list!
yep and Sly.Massive were massive in the uk in the 90's and still going.@@johndorsey1423
I vote for a marathon for all!
Great recommendations!
"Angel" by Massive Attack. Very emotional with great climaxes.
Massive Attack are LEGENDARY and were a huge band here in Europe in the 90s. They were essentially a group of producers that evolved from the club scenes in Bristol, UK.
You should react to KARMACOMA next, it's like a Reggae joint. And a classic lounge track.
Massive attack- black milk
Old school TripHop... Thank you for hitting on this. Been a fan since the mid '90's and they were HUGE all over. You should check out Tricky if you like this group. He is totally chill ok?😁
Massive Attack are great! So many classic tracks from them. I'm more of a rock fan usually but I make an exception for early 90s trip-hop. Of which Massive Attack and Portishead are the undisputed masters! :)
Agreed.
Shara nelson is the female singer ,she didn't do to bad as a solo singer as well..shout out to the bristol massive !!!
The impact of this band on the British music scene is still evident today. Massive Attack have made so much great music. Shara Nelson's stuff didn't get quite the recognition it deserved but she still scored some top 40 hits. Tricky's solo career is incredible. Oh yeah, the white dude singer in the group is "3D" it's rumoured that he is the actual real artist "Banksy" (3D has a known background in the graffitti scene is from the same town as Banksy and supposedly some of the world wide appearances of his art tie in with Massive attack tours!).
Check out "Unfinished Sympathy", "Safe From Harm", "Protection", "Three", "Teardrop", "Karmacoma" and "Angel" from Massive Attack.
Check out "Black Steel", "Puppy Toy", "Evolution, Revolution Love", "Hell is round the corner", "Bacative" & "Aftermath" (Tricky's Maxinquaye album is possibly my favourite album ever)
Shara Nelson....Inside Out is a soul masterpiece of a song by her.
So good !
Hey Scribe. Glad you got to the Trip Hop Pioneers. A lot of similar comments to my own thoughts.
Too many bangers to mention by this amazingly talented group.
For sheer emotion I'd have to recommend Unfinished Sympathy and Angel.
Both have epic videos!
Enjoy your Easter Weekend!
There is a, what I think is an amazing, cover of Light my Fire by the Doors live that I love.
Angel
For a while, I got into Massive Attack, really weird and incredible music.
Massive attack great band! was actually thinking of requesting a scribe massive attack reaction.
Hay mucho por descubrir de la musica de massive attack❤
Reaction a "Be thankful for what you got" Massive attack
I like that. Smooth.
Good stuff all of the tracks suggested in the comments are brilliant & I think you'd like Soul 11 Soul 'Keep on Movin' & 'back to life', as well as Portishead 'Wandering Star', (with good headphones the bass pounds through your head) & 'Glory box'.
love u
Bristol style
it cannot be suggested enough: "Unfinished Sympathy"!
They are from Bristol the same city as me, seen them live several times. Best time was out in the centre of the city out in the open on a hot summer day! I remember smoking s nice fat one to their groovy tunes!👍😁
You missed your calling as an auctioneer...or starring in Micro Machine commercials.
Massive Attack were one of the best things to happen to UK music in the 90's. Check out Five man Army for the same album, or Rising Son from Mezzanine.
Ten years after......if I could change the world
This album came out my freshman year at NYU. It was all Beastie Boys, left and right. But this cd dominated my floor.
Banksy(3D)... looks so young,what a song tho
Slick Rick be from the UK that's why it has that sound Big up Bristol dem
Jeee gal…. What are you on?!?! 😮
FYI, the white guy, Robert Del Naja, is also Banksy. It's kind of still debated by some who are certain it's someone else, but both Banksy and Massive Attack have hinted at that several times in recent years, with MA album covers appearing in Banksy installations and the MA Instagram account showing hints like artwork and spray paint cans :)
It's kind of an open secret now.
Massive Attack is in the same era as Portishead. They're the two most well-known "trip-hop" acts to come out of Bristol in the UK in the early '90s. They have a lot in common, the most obvious being their big stylistic choices and their creative freedom. They're also both considered collectives rather than bands, with members rotating and changing depending on the project. Appreciation for both acts is greatly driven by their artistic integrity. They've kind of bubbled away just creating amazing music without falling into the trappings of the industry, and it's worked for them because they can can sell out a tour within an hour of announcing one.
This is actually one of the lesser-known Massive Attack songs, there are a few others you've probably heard before in soundtracks and never knew. I would recommend checking out Unfinished Sympathy, Teardrop and Voodoo in my Blood. The Spoils is also an amazing song but totally different to their usual style, easily one of the most beautiful songs they've ever produced.
C Thomas 3D (Del Naja) is not Banksy.
Hope you do more Trip Hop
👍❤️
Hey, you gotta check out their "five man army" track, it's on the "blue lines" album.
Loving your reactions
You are so cute ❤🥰🏴
This my uncles Group. Big up all the Grant family in Bristol
Boss tune. Safe From Harm was a must have classic album for us in UK. The beat on this track though is Wally Badarou ‘Mambo’. Take care.
I think you meant, 'Blue Lines', which contains 'Safe From Harm'? A truly classic album indeed! :)
@@Codex7777 Yes mate you're right. Don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that. 😎
Not sure what you've listened to, but DO listen Unfinished Sympathy along with anything from Mezzanine.
Now we're talking...
Mr Banksy at his best - shhh
That brings back memories.Best song was "inertia creeps"imo
3D, the 1st rapper you see in the video is probably Banksy.
Angel and Teardrop are the only 2 massive attack songs I know but they are great.
That's UK Gold
Do Roots Manuva, please
BLACK MILK
That's one long intro, literally crickets.
