I use to struggle with eating disorders having been a bigger girl in my childhood/teen years I lost quite a bit of weight and for a long time was scared of food but am so grateful for your shared journey here it's changed my outlook and is growing my relationship with food in ways that is changing my muscle gains in the best of ways and showing me that I truly need to take in more in order to progress....I just recently ordered your recipe books and am excited to try some of these as I am finding myself hungry like all the time the more muscle I build which thankfully I'm learning is kind of normal as you seem to have a healthy intake with such incredible results so very excited and grateful for your knowledge and courage to share with us continually ❤

I’m glad you were honest. As long as you feel good and your hormones are okay (not losing period), and you look strong and healthy, you should do what makes you feel best.
wondering if you still get your period at 9% body fat if you don't mind sharing. Also how many hours of exercise do you do each day to get to that leanness? You do your gym workout but you also stay so active throughout the day. It would be really hard to get down that low if you have a sedentary desk job...I work out every day and might have time to get a walk in if I'm lucky but have teens at home who need rides to sports/school etc.

She’s on an iud or something so not a real or natural period. No way any female with extreme exercise and duch low body fat would consistently menstruate naturally. Her body, her choice but don’t be mistaken, she is not a model of health for people and I’m sure MDs and dieticians would agree.
She really didn’t say when the last time she had her period. She talked about having an iud which makes her period almost non existent when she has it in and when she doesn’t have it in she has one. So I bet if she was to take out the iud now she wouldn’t have a period due to such low bf%. It’s really concerning. I hope young girls don’t think it’s okay to have almost no body fat. She might not be seeing the effects of having no period and low bf now, but she might down the road.

People would say first world problems, but it was packing up food to go to the store with kids so I wouldn’t get hangry, snacks in my purse, working a job on my feet all day I wasn’t able to eat while working and my body would turn on me, it was like you build a beast that NEEDS to be fed constantly!! I had to give it up, to actually live a better quality lifestyle. How do you do it!! Do you have kids or a husband? I feel like I see a lot of my old self in you, how much water are you in taking daily?? Also do you supplement with a multi and or fish oil?? Love your vibes girl!!!!!

I was 45 years old when I got 9.3% body fat. During that time I did prolonged fasting 48 hrs. once a week. I ‘m OMAD marathoner. So I ate 6 big meals per week. The single digit is hard to keep that low all year long. Right now I’m about 16%. I increase more meal depending on my training. I haven’t done prolonged 48 hrs. lately but still fast 24 hrs. or more.

Not a fitness professional or anything, just a dude, but if you wanna get little bit more body fat, I would increase a carbs. Real sugar, not a sweetener etc. Body shape is amazing though.
Don’t know if you measured it back at this time but I’m curious to know what your body fat percentage was back when you were drinking and not working out like you are now? Those pictures seemed like much higher body fat percentage. I love your videos and get so much inspiration from you! Thanks for sharing with us!

How do you let go of the guilt of not eating what you should? Today I was craving chocolate and peanut butter. I gave in but now I feel so guilty about it. And I’m worried about that setting me back from my goals
You might already know this but there is pb2 wich is like peanut butter powder with less fat and still the same protein. Super easy to mic into everything for example chocolate protein shakes or oats. This might satisfy your peanut cravings and help you achieve your goals faster ❤

But when i buy peanut butter or chocolate now i buy it without sugar and since then i never overate on it because its the combination of fat and sugar that makes it so addicting. I never have strong period cravings but if you do be kind to yourself, eat enough protein and healthy carbs like fruit and maybe consider looking into l tryptophan wich can help with cravings aswell. But one or two days of overeating will not ruin progress of a whole moth either :))

Originally I was even with fats and carbs but never really felt satisfied so I increased my carbs so I can eat more fruits and veggies, which definitely is making a difference for me. I’ve been trying to look for no fat cheese, but haven’t been able to find it. Ive been using the reduced fat one here and there. At the moment, I’m kind of using my body like a science experiment lol. I originally made the mistake of reducing my calories too much and now trying to work my way back up without ruining my progress thus far. I know my estrogen levels are slightly out of whack, so I will look into tryptophan. Thank you for the tip :)
I am genuinely curious. Is there a reason for have been consistently below 15% bf? Do you compete in any bodybuilding? Being that low for many people is absolute hell so I am just curious why are you are always so lean
hope you realize your not acutally 9%, females tend to hold more weight then men and your nowhere near jesse james whos around 10% as a male, doucette is a male at8% (a true 8% might i add) still though your really helathy and honestly gain 5-10lbs of fat in body comp would be healthier..... btw congrates on your progress on the way
@@amazedbylove the most shredded female bodybuilders only get to 10 percent, maybe the max would be down to 8 but they would be super shredded and wouldn’t have periods or normal hormones at all. Most female bodybuilders are only down to 15 to 18 percent and shredded. While a man has a lower limit of 2 percent before death, a woman is 8 percent. I know is she was told 9 percent, I believe she was, but those are not very accurate testing methods honestly. The only truly accurate method is after death though, so!

I am really lean too and love lifting. People make comments sometimes but I feel great when I’m lean and eating healthy food!

It’s not possible as a female to be at 9 percent body fat and still be functioning, or alive. I’m sorry, you’re not 9 percent.
She probably hasn't been at 9% for very long for it to negatively affect her
