Last week I was thinking of your mom and how was her challenge doing. Last year I started to change my diet to high protein and low carb and lost 10lbs without feeling like I was dieting which is amazing. Thanks to you and congratulations mom for the real effort, it definitely pays off

my issue is that I a post menopause and i am strong but it's harder to recover so i can't get ahead like i'd like. I'm 2 years post and i'm lucky to look the way I do at this point in time. I plan on going on hormones so i can recover better and gain more muscle.. it's hard to be a woman my age. it sucks. it is doable though! keep on keeping on !!

Your videos are just like life changing for me lol cannot get enough but i do have a question do you think its neccessary to track calories in ordwr to gian muscle or lose fat or could one just olay with their diet until its figured out....i use to track all the time and have struggled with eating disorders when i was a teen id like to not track anymore but am just not sure how to go about it just listen to my body and add or subtract foods accoridng to how i feel ? Any help is appreciated and you are amazing thanks for being so transparent and helpful in all you put out here for us ❤

Thank you for the video 😊 it’s fun but also your explanations are reflecting the real-time (it’s not the « loose 30 kg in one week type of video ») Since end of last year I set up the goal of exercising 2 times a week. I started CrossFit with my partner and indeed it’s easier when you have someone else doing the same at the same moment, especially when you want to eat healthier. But it’s also something that I do on my own thus if other people want to change alone, they still can (like you said). With CrossFit I discovered a gym with people of all ages and sizes. You don’t go there with the idea of dressing pretty but just to sweat. No problem if you go with awfully gym clothes. You do it together and for me it works better than going to the gym alone. I like also the fact that everyone does the same but it’s adapted : my weights are different than the others as I’m a beginner also sometimes I don’t do the same exercise but a variation. Everyone can do something to increase its strength overtime no matter what the starting point is. It’s important to find a sport you enjoy (Eg I hate running) thus each person must try different things. I liked the fact that you explained the logic with the carbs and the water. Lots of diets don’t explain this and use this mechanism to illustrate that their program works.
I feel like I could never achieve this goals. If I become lean, I´m super weak and if I train hard and become strong, my body fat increases a lot. I can´t have both :(
I think you should share a transformation of a more "normal" i.e. unhealthy and overweight untrained. 1/3-1/2 the population is overweight and 1/4 is obese. For many, your Mum's before stats and physique would be the end goal of many Mums 😊 It's all about enabling and inspiring people to be the best versions of themselves.

I am sincerely happy for your mum. But habit building does not work this way with ADHD 😢 there is always this voice in my head telling me not to do things, even basic ones, like brushing my teeth😢 if you could look into that at some point, I would highly appreciate it ❤

Spend that energy and time to your mind, instead of your body. You'll already have a better body when you have a better mind. It's the mind that matters.
So maintenance calories is different for every single human, it is dependent on your resting metabolism together with your daily movement❤️ I have made other videos where I dig into this and in my transformation program I go into debts on it even more but you can also easily do a Google search on it and it will help you clearly understand what maintenance is❤️❤️❤️
Pernilla, I love your videos, but you really need an overhaul on your audio levels. Its soo unbalanced. I have to hold my keyboard in my hand the entire video because the audio goes from normal, to quiet, to loud in a matter of seconds. Its really hard to watch
Which actually means it's harder. People who have a ton to lose can change one habit (drinking soda, walking every morning) and lose weight. It is SO. MUCH. HARDER. when you have very little to lose. Everyone talks about those "last 10 pounds". It's because they're the most stubborn and take the most amount of intention and consistency
