I've been to most attractions you show but not the elephant place where is it and is it ethical please ( not chained or ridden ) ? Great job btw I've now subscribed 👍
Hello guys, saw your 14 days road trip video to newzealand, really mesmerized. I was wondering if you guys have the places where we book our accommodation to match the exact itenary that you guys did. We are planning a trip to NZ in jan'25
Here are all the exact places we booked: * Auckland - Sudima Auckland City * Rotorua - Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa * Tongariro - Adventure Lodge and Motels and Tongariro Crossing * Fielding - Airbnb called Little Forest Cabins * Overnight on ferry * Tasman - Airbnb called The Library (2 nights) * Greymouth - Goldfield Suites * Christchurch - Carnmore Hotel Christchurch * Twizel - Airbnb called High Country Cabin * Wanaka - Fairway Motel & Apartments * Queenstown - QT Queenstown (2 nights) Hope that helps!
I believe there must be more than 1 elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. Can you give me the name of the one you visited? I like the fact that they don’t make the elephants work eg carrying visitors, but instead visitors get to feed them, wash them etc. We’ll be there in December. Thank you
We didn't go to the main one (Yi Peng), which is in Nov this year 2024, but we went to the one for New Year's Eve, which of course is the same day every year =)
We used this site: www.busonlineticket.co.th/booking/bus-tickets.aspx but for some reason, it doesn't look like the search is working right now. The bus company we used is called Greenbus Thailand if that helps
Are there different prices for foreigners? Is it because you didn't bargain or are they just set that way? What countries (besides Japan) have you visited for vacation, and what's next on your agenda?
They've just set it that way and seems to be common throughout all of Thailand unfortunately. We've been to a bunch throughout Asia, but that was before we started filming. Next up will likely be somewhere in Europe, but not finalized yet.
@@didibryan That's not a lot but I don't like the concept of having a foreigner price. And the two of you look Thai enough and you can pretend to be local (just don't speak) 😀
Love that you put the prices of things, thanks!
You're very welcome!
Thank you for this very good video. I'm planning my first trip to Thailand, and this is very helpful.

We used Grab to get around to the different locations within each city.
Do we have to make reservations for Lalitha cafe, before going?
No reservations needed!
Nice toilets at the White temple but you have to pay to use them.

Hello..can u suggest the dates of this lantern festival for this year. I really want 2 witness this but not sure of the dates of the festival.
We didn't go to the main one (Yi Peng), which is in Nov this year 2024, but we went to the one for New Year's Eve, which of course is the same day every year =)

@@didibryan Usually, how much was the "foreigner difference" in %?
That really depends. Maybe on average 50%-100% more if there was a difference?

Yeah we're not a fan of it either, but it is what it is 🤷 Thailand is also cheap enough so that it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things 😅
This name of city is Chiang mai = Cheing mai and Chiang rai = Cheing rai
Enjoyed the video till you lit the lantern at the end, I hope you realise that they kill a lot of wildlife 😢
Ok party pooper . Delete ur comment now. No one cares
