This loss is solely on Luka's hands. They were still ahead 9 points. And what did he do? He kept chugging ill advised shots. He keeps the ball in his hands, in every posession, until there's too little time left to make a decent play, and instead settling for low percentage shots. C'mon Luka. You're struggling. Find your team mates who are actually making an impact. Make plays. I hope he realizes that the way he plays is not championship basketball. smh.
Fr. That's why it's so hard being a Luka fan. He just ball hogs when things mess up. It works if he was healthy. But now he's just a shell of the amazing year he had. He has to be a playmaker more. Yes, stat mongers are wondering why Luka hasn't won an MVP yet and I think this is why. Luka is amazing, no doubt, but he spends a lot of time whining to the refs and dribbles the air out of the ball. And Luka has yet to show us that he's a force in the post season. His decision-making and discipline when butts get tight is questionable. A lot of players look great during the regular season, but very few can carry their team to the promised land in the playoffs.
That's Luka, that's how he plays sometimes he makes em. Sometimes he doesn't.

This was a gut check game for OKC. Down around 15 or so in the 2nd half, they needed to show some championship grit to claw back for a clise win. Now they need to hokd serve at home.

OKC had a really poor game by their standards and managed to sneak a win. Hopefully they can get back to playing some OKC babsketball & blow past them again in game 5.

OKC was coming with all the loose balls in the second half of the game. Yes, there is an element of luck to that but mostly it's about effort.
If you are referring to the missed free throws by Dallas, that's about focus. Draymond called it "discipline," and I think what he means is discipline to calm yourself down and remember your free throw routine every time you step up to the line without letting emotion or the game circumstances throw off your focus.

Congrats to the Thunder, but the Mavs really threw the game away. You got a 3 possessions advantage, at home, in a low scoring game, 1 quarter left. You can't lose in that situation, Luka and Kyrie didn't play like they were supposed to, they should've assumed the burden of the game instead of putting it on the role players' shoulders.

OKC didnt "get lucky" they picked up their defense in the end when it mattered most. Their defense in the second half was far better than it was in the first. Their defense is what got them to where they are today.

It's crazy how a current NBA player and a hand full of former NBA players don't know the rule on loosing possession of the ball and then getting your dribble back. Draymond said the mavs player never gained possession of the ball therefore it's a double dribble. How does a current NBA player say that? The defender does not have to gain possession during a loose ball for the offensive player to get his dribble back. I think TNT should do a quick study session on the rules for the game they're commenting on. The pool report will explain why it was correct to not call a double dribble in that instance.
