Luka 23.8/10.6/8.4/1.8/0.6 with 42.4 from field and 4 to
I think SGA showed who is the real mvp in the series
@@MoonIronTR in playoffs, more important than stats is when you show up and the control you have on the series. I feel Luka can win any game of this series if he really wants to. He did that in the clippers series, played bad and then game 5 showed up and reminded everyone he's in control of literally everything in the series.
I can't say the same about Shai.
@@MoonIronTR in the regular season stats speaks way more. However, if for you those numbers you gave are a good reason for Shai being the mvp of the series then you must have absolutely no doubt that Luka should have finished ahead of him in the MVP this season
@@PedroJr17good point.
@@PedroJr17 If you dont think SGA cant control and win a game on his own
Rewatch Game 4 in Luka's house
shaq watching his mvp narrative crumble before his eyes
Kyrie is giving up the offensive to play defense. I wish people would acknowledge it.
He's giving up the flash for the rest of the team. The highest sacrifice in my opinion. Why else did Bill Russell win 11 championships in 13 years?
He's often getting blitzed and doubled when he has the ball, and why the corner threes get open for PJ and DJJ to have big games.
I'm unable to watch full games, but my idea is that in his younger days he would try to beat the blitzes and doubles to prove himself. Now when he passes off as defenders are coming, he helps the team but he gives up trying to be a star. My kind of player.
Hate how there no argument for Luca winning mvp
Brother there's people who did the same thing as Luka, while playing more games and winning more games. I don't see an argument there
Kyrie was crucial for this win. Kyrie showed up when it mattered. Yes, he only had 12 points but 12 points at just the right time. Stats aren't everything.
Happy to see someone stating what I've been thinking. The desire for Kyrie to diminish his star power for team success for me far exceeds anything else I see on Dallas. He's helping Luka become more team oriented. I'm old enough to have watched Bill Russell, and Russell always put his team success first.
Spring is NBA on TNT time and not much sleep. Fantastic show!
I hate seeing Shaq's face after his disgusting take on the MVP
Shaq a big clown figuratively and literally

Only Nuggets survived Chuck's predictions and guaranteed.
Say a lot about Jokic.
Chuck said nuggets were toast too after game 2
@@lucky889s9 exactly. Nuggets win last year despite Chuck picking them while other teams mostly loses when he did, like the Wolves and OKC now.

Shaq rubbing on you, Mr. Sensitive 😂
Luka gets more credit than Kyrie
To me Kyrie has given up trying to be a star to trying to help his team be the best it can be. Quite a sacrifice in my mind.
as someone from dallas born and raised hits different whenever the mavericks are actually making a playoff run
Today Shaq & Chrls very talkative but yesterday disappeared ...
I am gonna miss these guys when this show ends next year, it's been a legendary run.

Well well well, looky what we have here. SGA and OKC on the brink of elimination and we're gonna have 2 foreign Hhhhhwhyte's facing off in the West finals! We're still waiting for that apology to Jokic "Dr" O'neal...
Love how Mavs are playing now.
But....
Lets see how the 2 Yugos whine to refs, especially when AG and Joker are fouling and not getting called. Luka is gonna gonna explode, Malone will fake small market outrage again, and Kidd will be stonefaced.
Refs will grease the Squeakier Nuggets with the Walmart card, and then check on Mavs' new Vegas flex.
MvP has often alternated in voting in the past, and not gone to best, so the trophy makes its rounds.
Shaq does not like the lack of rotation today, but excuse was most mvp for their team. (Ex: Look at Jordan ring years without MVP)
SGA definitely got OKC further this year - he is their MVP, they did win best in West over Nuggets, and they beat Nuggets.
Joker does not "need" MvP over smaller market OKC - but he got it. And he will be just as good next few years. He is the best point center. Wemby is coming, but will develop differently.
League needs this trophy to move.
@@artimp152 It's Most Valuable Player, which is still the best player. The best player would be the most valuable wouldn't they? So yes arguably Jordan has a case he was the best and most valuable player from 88'-98'. Wilt Chamberlain should have won the MVP in 62' because he was clearly the best player. If you take Russell off of the Celtics that year they still could have won the championship, the sixers wouldn't of had a chance without Wilt.

Nah. He's better.
TNT needs to bring these guys back. In fact the NBA needs to chip in and keep them because I feel there is a decent % of people that only follow the NBA through the NBA on TNT.
Would be great to see, but not sure NBC's $2.5 Billion deal will keep the show alive in Atlanta. Ernie's not leaving ATL.

Draymond clearly showing why Kenny and Shaq need to be retired when Inside the NBA moves to NBC.
Get some players who UNDERSTAND the modern game, actually WATCH the games, and offer very specific insight and value to the discussions, instead of just phoning it in with cliche and bluster, like Shaq & Kenny.
Keep Chuck! At least, he’s universally likable !
People criticize Kyrie for not getting 20+ points in a loss but don't praise him at all when they win, even though he's playing winning basketball. If the guys on the Suns were willing to play more team-oriented and as a unit instead of taking turns in ISO, they'd have had more success like the Mavs are having with Kyrie doing what is needed from game to game.
Kyrie bought in (doesn't mean he 'gave in') and it worked. Simple.
