Thanks so much for this video! I was making the same bonnet and got a little stuck when they described how to attach and start around the neck. My guess was correct but I was happy to find your video and confirm! Happy knitting!
Thank you so much! Your demonstration is wonderfully clear and helpful. I found the instructions on the same bonnet pattern a bit confusing. Happy Knitting!
I love this video and technique. THANK YOU! I adore icord edges but hate knitting a huge icord at the end of a shawl, for instance. I just got a mini icord mill (prym brand) and I can now make fast icord a and then attach. I am so grateful. Thank you again!!!.
Thank you so much! I spent an hour trying to determine what the pattern was telling me to do! I will link to your video when I comment on the process on ravelry
Thank youuu! I am making a wrap top and the trim at the bottom along with waist ties is all icord which i have never done before and couldn't figure out how to attach it
With all these last stitches in your needle, how did uli pick them up after you decreased the middle part to few stitches? Can someone please share a video of how to pick up the stitches and transfer to one needle? What should I do with my working yarn in the middle? Should I bind off the middle part first then pick up the stitches?
Hi Michala! This is Annri, I’m the one who made this bonnet and video for Spun :) I haven’t made a video about making the stitches for the chin, but I found this video for you which shows the technique that I used: ruclips.net/video/FWSacwEfWH8/видео.html by Very Pink Knits, “Slow Motion Picking Up Stitches”. I hope that’s helpful!
Looks like we’re all here for the same hat pattern! How amusing. Thank you Annri for your tutorial.
Glad it helped!
Someone left the link to this on the reviews of this bonnet and I just have to say I hope you’re having an amazing daymonthyearlife.
Like others, I got stuck on this exact same part of the baby bear bonnet pattern. This is so helpful and clearly explained. Thank you!

When you make the baby bear bonnet, what kind of increase did you do on the ears? Was it M1L and M1R
We used both. On each ear, first a M1L and then a M1R, to make them mirror images.
@@PeterSickmanGarner oh thank you very much 😊
Thanks for this tutorial but why you don't show how to attach the other strap to the bonnet to finish the work?
Hi:) do you have a video showene how to gather the stitches on each chin side?

Hi could you teach us how to kitting this beautiful bear Bonney hat please. Could you make video please . Thanks ❤
Thanks, Mona! I'm afraid our production skills are not advanced enough to make such an involved video.
How to then finish the end after attaching I cord
Do you have a tutorial for the back of this hat?
We don't have a video for the whole hat. This one was just intended to demonstrate the i-cord technique.
the pattern is the baby bear bonnet by knitting for olive
