The 3 litre TD, TE, and TF Alvis are all beautiful. The paint and finish on this one is absolutely stunning. Gobsmacked - thanks so much for featuring it.
I was Brought home from the Nursing home 81 years ago in a 1939 Alvis - my father's car - black - blue leather seats with cloth backs. I have to say that this green is about as perfect as it gets (not only the quality of the finish but the colour).
As a teenager in the 1960s I first saw this model Alvis in Liverpool and said to a friend 'That's the car I want ' and I'm still saying the same in my mid 70s . Trouble is , I still can't afford one . Can you image if the British car industry was still producing all the great quality cars that they did in those days .
