since kingdom is set 300 years after war, it might explain what happened in between that time. it’s possible that they never accepted another human and only had that little girl, she gets old and dies without kids, and then years happen to where they begin to forget that they did that. or, those in power eventually re-wrote history to make it seem like they never accepted a human in the first place. or maybe they lived peacefully for years and then something flipped. who knows? we should wait for the movie to explain!
