I was 12 when the show first aired.
I'm now 68. It sure brings back memories. I loved watching it when I was a kid. 😊
Didn’t know this existed until now. I watched the series when I was younger and thought the series was the coolest tv series because of the tagline “let me get this straight, you want me to steal” and the theme music was very cool, because I got to stay up later to watch the show. Thank you for posting this video.

ABC must have done a great job of promoting their new programs, because I couldn't wait to see this pilot. I was 13 years old then, and I wasn't disappointed! Loved the show.
Men and women were much more polished and sophisticated 50 yrs ago.I'm feeling nostalgic for those times.

I love this! I like to watch it for nostalgic comfort when I'm falling asleep but there's so much music that it keeps me up, so I have to pick something else and save these for when I'm not trying to get to sleep. I love the style of those times, that's also why I liked the series Mad Men.

Though I watched these as a kid, don't remember seeing this pilot. Thanks for uploading. Quite a stable of special guests stars plus Stuart Margolin when he was just starting out before his best known role as Angel on Rockford Files.
I was a huge fan of this show back in the late 1960s. When it went of the air I was greatly disappointed.

Great suit Wagner is wearing. I used to have one like that, but where could I wear it nowadays - everywhere is so informal. The show was great fun: but half of it I didn't understand at all. The rest I'm not sure about.
Well, you can do what I do, wear jeans with your suit coat.
I live in a rural farm community and I get away with it all the time, even in my Brooks Brothers suit coats.
