Way to go sheriff. Way to go. 😊😊😊That bus sure gets a lot of action. Always just conveniently passing through. I’ll bet a lot of bus drivers know his face. 😅😅
Imagine the pillow talk with that voice of hers; that distinct, raspy, ultra feminine voice that just calls out "Suzanne Pleshette.". She's the real deal and the total package. That kiss at the tag ranks near the top as far as the intensity delivered and received in the act with Kimble and any of his leading ladies. . . . I feel so fortunate I have the series on the authorized DVD set. But, I stumbled across this while browsing RUclips and got caught up watching all the way thru 'cause it's one of my favorites eps.
The internet says the little girl (Debi Storm) "has been a member of Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA since 1967. She began her career in Hollywood on a children's program, “Romper Room”. It also says "Debi Storm was born on 16 July 1958 in the USA. She is an actress, known for I Spy (1965), Village of the Giants (1965) and The Invaders (1967)." She appeared on "Dr. Kildare," "The Big Valley" "Green Acres" "Dallas" and this episode of "The Fugitive". She would have been age 6 in this appearance. To me, she looked younger than that, but that's acting for ya! She was also on The Brady Bunch, too. Not too bad for a little actress. Right now, she's the same age as me, for another whole 4 weeks anyways. That's when I bump up my age another notch and she'll have another 11 month to catch up with me.
Oh my I was really a fan of Dr Kimble , and David Jannssen was my favourite actor in tv series. This esa a lovely disco very. He was so handsome and manly.
I remember watching the fugitive as teen ager in Yemen , the Middle East, back in the 60s, and I did not know as a kid, that this was an American movie, and even did not know there was a country in this world called America. Then in 1980 I arrived in America New Orleans, LA. As a foreign student, worked in America, and eventually became a US citizen. America is a Great country. I love It.
Muchas gracias por compartir tan buen episodio de una gran serie 😊. Me encanta este episodio por la actuación de la bella y talentosa Suzanne Pleshette. 😊❤❤😊.
His last role as the Death Stagecoach driver in movie starring Eric Roberts "Purgatory" He tormented Both Slim Sherman and Jess Harper in "Laramie" even made Sheriff Andy Taylor back down and "Mind Your Own Business" 🙌🤗 Especially liked him in "No Name on the Bullet" starring Audie Murphy 👍
What a refreshing change to see the "soft side" of one of his characters. He "has a heart" here. . . . I hope before too long he lets his deputy know he wasn't as stupid as he claimed while in Kimble's presence.
I saw this only once about thirty years back and still got chills when the kid is found to have tularemia / meningitis at 17:01 in this post . Liked it when Kimble got to use his doctor knowledge . He seemed to be a pretty fair practical psychologist as well . Thanks for this post Patents 672256, 3190554, 3013505 .
I’ve been binge watching the series on Internet Archive and just finished this episode. It’s now one of my favorites due mainly to the great onscreen chemistry between David and Suzanne.
I read that she and David had a little something going as she was between flings. Lucky guy. Read about his life. Poor guy died young, 48yrs old. Smoking.
Some say Suzanne Pleshette should have been brought back for the 2-part finale. Either Pleshette or Susan Oliver would have been great choices. Oh, well....
I just thought that same thing. I personally would have chosen Suzanne because her character original tried to help him and she could have been there when Kimble was freed. :)
Definitely a dilemma for the lucky Kimble -- lucky FINALLY by the two-part finale's resolution -- to choose. They're both charming, hot, equally ideal; it's almost a Sophie's Choice dilemma. I'll offer that living right on the California coast near Santa Barbara, going out on the boat with Susan day or night with romance on their minds outweighs the intimate charms land-bound and child-bound Pleshette can surely offer. (Wasn't David's and Helen Kimble's argument that she wanted children and he didn't?) . . . No offense intended to the attractive, extremely talented and capable Diane Baker -- of the said finale -- but these two, as initially proposed by Thomas Vasiloff, definitely outrank Baker. . . . . Let's not forget Pamela Tiffin, Angie Dickinson, Julie Sommars, Tuesday Weld, Vera Miles, Laura Devon, Joanna Moore, the equally hot Brenda Scott, et al. But since the original post is limiting the topic to Pleshette and Oliver, out of respect for those two, I'll stop this exercise in fantasies.
Query to our host Mike Kirby: On behalf of "The Fugitive" fans plus newcomers checking out David Janssen's iconic series, in all conscience how could you offer this print that's been hacked to death; key, pivotal scenes 86'd / m.i.a. -- when copying a full-length print off satellite telecast or the factory DVD would suffice? And make you many friends instead of upsetting them to no end.
My opinion? This truncated version is better than no version at all. I had never seen this episode. Miss Pleshette was truly one of a kind. Totally mesmerizing. June 8, 2022

Yes, they had an affair while David was married to his 1st wife. Suzanne called it off till he could figure things out. By the time of David’s divorce, Suzanne was happily married. David admitted later that he should have married Suzanne. They remained life-long friends.
Does anyone know what happened to a channel named " Rick's talented tounge" he had all four seasons of the fugitive on his channel, but the channel seems to be taken down or something?
A lot more than that was cut. I second "dennytango" who typed in Feb. 2020: "sadly been chopped by about 25 minutes". On YouTuibe there's NO reason NOT to show program's unedited, in their entirety, because there are no time restrictions. In broadcast and cable/satellite the channel/network will cut as much as it can because ever 30 seconds of edited story footage equates to more money coming in from an advertiser. This IS a great episode.
@@scvandy3129 In fact the first kiss in the motel explains the wry humour behind her request for him to 'do her a favour' at the end. It's a real shame this episode was so heavily edited.
Oh, just about 50% of the audience - male; you're securely ensconced in the other 50% who drool over Janssen. 100% -- or close to -- of "Fugitive" fans admire Janssen. Is that too hard to figure?! As "Julian Marsh" implied in his brief reply last year, here it is fleshed out: I cannot believe your asinine, haven't-a-clue, self-centered comment.
Dr Kimble commits numerous felonies during the course of the show. He is a dangerous criminal. Should be caught, tried and convicted on all these incidents. You don’t take the law into your own hands. This is why this series was almost rejected by the Network.
Rest in Peace, David Jansen and Suzanne Pleashette! You both are missed! Great actors! ❤🙏

Oh my God, Suzanne Pleshette was there.
Japanese remember her
Debi Storm was born in 1958. This episode was shot in 1965. Now who's Debi Storm?
This episodes scenes were formatted differently than usual episodes...Why?
So who is Debi Storm? And the two-part finale in 1967 was a bit of a letdown, although it was one of the highest rated telecasts up to that point.
Two-part finales almost always are disappointing. The only exception I can think of is "Star Trek TNG".
So This is where they got the idea in the movie version for Kimble to help a child.
It's been like this at my house at the moment in real life. It's scary.
