- Had a really bad start, but it still turned out to be a decent run. Also, I forgot to turn on the ingame music for this run, so enjoy the song "Wicked Flight" from the Bravely Default OST.

I really liked the use of Health Honing to compensate for Ukanlos' cheap damage. I think it's a rather underrated feature.
Oh, and I like the music setup, even if it was unintentional.

This is actually one of the few quests in the game where elemental charge blade shines. The only way i managed to beat it was by abusing the extreme fire damage from the goldian cb.

@@CantaPerMe Mann habe diese Quest jetzt ein paar mal probiert und ich kann nicht sagen, dass ich mich viel besser angestellt habe, als meine Kollegen, aber ich war auch nicht furchtbar. Was man von der Herausforderung ein gutes Team zu finden nicht sagen kann. Und manche sind so salts. Da vermasseln wir den 3. C. Fatalis nach zwei erfolgreichen und schon sind 2 Weg, bevor ich dran war.

How come you didn't hone this weapon for attack? It's surprising to see you use a weapon honed for life. Is it because that Ukanlos deals ridiculous amounts of damage so you can save time on healing yourself instead of stopping every minute? That's the only explanation I can come up with.
I'd love to see you do a speedrun on the final Monster Hunter! quest, or the Raging Brachydios though.
Either way, great run. I can't solo this guy to save my life, he always one shots me with his stupid laser or spends fucking HOURS chasing me underground...
I think he honed for life because of the high chip damage at his legs
+Implosay Yeah, it's because Silver Cataclysm Ukanlos does lots of chip damage, so it's almost impossible to avoid taking damage. Also, since I was mainly aiming for the backlegs and tail, which don't take much raw damage, the attack power I lose from not honing attack doesn't affect my overall damage output significantly.
I've already done the Monster Hunter! quest btw, it was in fact one of my first soloruns on this channel. This video is pretty old though and I've already beaten that time by a large margin, but I usually don't do reruns of a quest I've already done for RUclips, so yeah...

Yeah it's alright but ukanlos is kinda like chameleos where you really want to exploit that elemental weakness cuz they don't take too much raw dmg

Decent run decent time just wondering about the sped up footage though ? was it a case to fit the whole thing into a 10 minute time frame with the after quest stuff you showed ?
