Hello. I am from Steinmetz farm. I am finding myself spending a lot more time now on my phone. I live in NE Iowa so far our winter has been somewhat mild.. I cried most of day the boys and Lauren left Chuckie behind. Thank you for all you are doing. For Chuck.

Justin had always "played" with him and it got out of hand. He bought him back from the slaughter house because he loves him and couldn't go through with it. He was intentionally deceived by a young man who only had profitable money on his mind. This person unknowingly took the first bull to slaughter. RIP Uno. It was after he picked up Chuck and Cinco that it became known what his intentions were. Thank God Justin was able to get them both back right before the slaughter. Only it cost him a great deal of money to do so. Those also caught in the middle of the deceit needed their money. As you can see, Justin loves and cares for all his animals. Lester is a Godsend! Chuck is a beautiful bull, and I am sure he must be very tired and wondering where his people are. In this moment he reminds me of a child who is homesick as are waiting for their parents to come for them and is sad to think about however I truly think that this was the best plan for Chuck going forward because he will be able to graze these beautiful pastures and have everything a bull could ever need plus all the special treats and vet care that he needs. He will be fine and will soon be strutting his stuff as any bull will do. Lester loves his bulls too, but I can fully understand how he feels about petting the bulls and agree with him 100% because even though they may be sweet they are still very large animals which do not understand their power to hurt or even kill a human regardless how well they may love them.

My concern about Chuck was that he thought that he could play with people. When Lester talked about the boundaries to be put in place I felt relived. Bulls are huge animals. Glad that Chuck is settling in so well. So pleased that Chuck will have that opportunity to live out his life with other cattle and with purpose.

My concern about Chuck was that he thought that he could play with people. When Lester talked about the boundaries to be put in place I felt relived. Bulls are huge animals. Glad that Chuck is settling in so well. So pleased that Chuck will have that opportunity to live out his life with other cattle and with purpose.
