They were actually on their way to record this song and looked on the side of the road and Peter said this is the perfect place to film the scene and pulled over and did it in one take.

Thank you for your honest reaction to this beautiful music, it blew me away the first time I heard it, so I completely get where you are coming from. Peter and Tim just sound so good together, and obviously they are both really talented singers, but I'm sure it's also because it's not about them showing off, it's about making the best music together that they can.

I honestly believe that these two guys were made to sing together. I don't know what it is, but both of their voices just fit together so perfectly

They did this right after they finished doing Bridge Over Troubled Water. They were driving down the street and saw that sun set and thought why not? They did this in one take, btw. This is my favorite of their's, right behind Misty Mountains. Like you said, it gave you a zen feeling, and they both did that to me, too. Tim still amazes me after all these years, with his vocal gymnastic's. Just wow! And the fact that he can do that with no effort at all....just blows my mind. These two together always create pure magic!

It's that 5 octave range that Tim has, you never know where he will sing but it's all great!

Wonderful reaction! Both Peter and Tim are impeccable musicians not just world class vocalists. They both focus on the music. Too many artists and groups today want the focus to be on THEM (e.g. "Listen to what I can do!!!") These two (and Home Free as well) say "Let me/us share a beautiful piece of music with you." I believe that's why their performances resonate so deeply with their audiences. It's not about THEM. It's about the MUSIC. Again, thanks for a great reaction to a wonderful MUSICAL offering.

Thanks for doing this. You took the words right out of my mouth. Their voices mesh so well. No matter how many times I hear Tim sing in the higher register it still surprises me every time.

Greensleeves is the music of "What Child is This." I would LOVE them to do it as "What Child is This" for a Christmas song.

Not many know this song. I only do because my greatgrandmother used to play it on piano. Later My grandmother would sing alto and play the organ while I sang 1st soprano back in the 60's. It's a very, very old song from way before my greatgrandmother was born in 1881.

Tim is wonderful, and by working on his upper range he continues to strengthen his lower range (he has said this is how he has gained such a wonderful range). This was a beautiful video and a great reaction! I know its not yet Christmas time but I think since you both loved this video you'd love listening to Taylor Davis feat. Home Free on Silent Night (while Chris was still a member), and Home Free's own version of Silent Night a few years later with Chance.

I heard in a recent interview where Tim does say that about his range. Very interesting how the voice works like that. The voice in itself is a beautiful instrument. We will check those our for sure but maybe at Christmas time

Peter has a great range but Tim has one of the widest ranges that I have heard. Check out Peter's performance of "O Come, O come Emmanuel" and be ready to let the sound take you back to Israel's cry for deliverance during their captivity thousands of years ago.

I don't know about other countries, but here the IceCream Vans that drive up and down streets during the hot summers where children commonly chase them down or are found in Showgrounds, play this melody since long before i was even born.

Wasn't that amazing. There is just something about the way these two pair together to bring us magic. They filmed this on the same day as they did Bridge Over Troubled Water, and they did it in one take. That's just how professional these two are, and their voices just seem to compliment each other so effortlessly. Thank you! Loved your reaction.
