When I met my wife she had a beautiful little 1 year old girl that I got the honor to adopt she is and always will be my little girl she is now 33 and the day we got married I made sure she was part of our ceremony and our minister asked her if I could be her daddy and when she said yes I broke it was such a special moment

My husband asked my girls from a previous marriage, because their biological father asked my new husband to adopt the girls, so he wouldn't have to pay child support.
My husband had been taking care of them, going to all school functions, teaching them to ride their bikes, while I waited for my divorce to be finalized. He fell in love with them, but told me they had to agree. He didn't know how they felt about their biological father, who was always absent and drunk.
The girls readily accepted without any coercion. They were young then, and as they grew up and married, my husband, their adoptive father walked them down the aisle and as they had children, each named their son after him ( middle name).
When my husband first met them, they were 4 and 6. Now they are in their 40's.

@@zaideIsmail-o2w I dont doubt that the father truly loves him and wanted to show it. I also don’t really know the behind the scenes with them, but to the son, the papers might have been important so that the government recognizes them as father and son. If someone isnt able to read the lips then this would be a double sided reaction, not knowing if he accepted or denied him as his son. Thanks for clearing it up with the lip reading.
