How people answer a question, and what they do in real life, are often different. I've been amazed at some of the women I've found attractive-and some that I HAVEN'T found attractive.
this kind of video always cracks me up.
i'm gonna educate you all.
i have dressed myself down to such a degree as to keep guys from constantly making passes at me or asking me out and i'm not a model either, but men always say to me the same thing - it's beyond the physical - it's a personality that really drives them wild and if the woman has some decent physical features to match, then that's the icing on the cake.
@Resplendence90 due to socialization. We pick up on the preferences of our society before we can even talk so it is truly no wonder that we feel these traits are natural. The process of socialization is responsible for our gender roles, what foods we enjoy, what religion we follow, what clothing we wear, etc etc.
Anthropology can open up a whole new world to those who wish to study it.

I think its true that men like a nice figure, I used to have a figure pretty much like that but then i put on a fair of weight and stoped exercising.
but I was very insecure and had extremely very low self esteem and many guys didnt find that attractive. personality does go along way.
My waist-hip ratio is exactly 26/37!!! That's awesome!!

Make-up is to enhance, not hide.
Personality, yeah. That's just as important as a 7/10 ratio. Who wants to mate with a boring woman?

ask black, asian , indian, native american etc men and youll get a COMPLETELY different answer and theyll tell you that so called 'perfect waist to hip ratio' by 'scientists' is absolute bull shit, well give you some real ratios

I wear make-up usually to enhance - blush to mimic healthy cheeks, white in the corner of the eyes to brighten the area, lipstick a shade darker than my lips to emphasize that part of my face... all the time people mistake me for wearing no makeup at all.
For the record, English is my second language. :)

@sandrapevka if you go for a fat guy then yes you will find a good guy.but if the things you want are superficial like wealth successful handsome tall fit etc then no you will not find him.example if you want a fit man then you must be fit to.if you ask for charachter and offer charachter in return then yes you will find him.

I find being a human being to be a quite disturbing process I think our creator might be a bit twisted and gets off on us humping each other and sometimes ourselves like a bunch of idiots trying to bear offspring to take our place b4 we die.

I love how women always get really angry whenever a study like this is done. Of course men are attracted to curves (big breasts, hips, and a small waist). That shows that a woman is capable of having kids, and in the right age. That's how the subconsciousness of males determine a good mate from a bad mate.
So there's no need to get upset or angry over this. Men aren't stupid, and when it all comes down to it, your looks isn't everything. As young men gets older, they'll realize that too.

i can't say all the guys i went out with were ugly, but only one made me look more than once, one was pretty good looking and the rest were only bland or okay. one was fat and out of all of them, he turned out to be one of theeeee most SHALLOW assholes i've ever had the unfortunate experience of having a relationship with. he showed his shallowness only AFTER he moved in!
as for the wrinkles - i'm over 40 and thankfully that isn't in my genes :)

that's a great comment! and yes, it is so that many men only go for the physical features - wait til they get older over 40 and it ain't so easy for THEM to look all that as they THINK they are and then they start lowering their bar. women in general aren't so shallow. i know for sure, only a few guys i've gone out with actually made me look twice - they had little to offer in looks but i always give people a chance no matter the looks.
I'll be honest, no fighting from me but pure honesty. I don't really have a type, I don't follow people or media, I pick my girl simply by the signals I get from her and how attractive I feel around her. Like now that I'm with my girlfriend I feel that she's the best because the love and all that other stuff. I think people like whatever. I think if letter c was black they would still choose it. Spanish Indian... whatever it don't matter, once u get happy.... u happy.
we all want someone with a great personality we can relate to :) but its not always that, we all have our primal side craving for physical attraction, and its hard to find someone with both of those, we just have to settle down for the next best thing. Its a animal thing, natural and sexual selection and all that. And I'm glad most men perfer a girl with curves, I was afraid the desired look would forever be small, chestless, and scrawny ;_;
@Evieteresa boys think they can tell when a girls got make up on and off, but really they can only tell if a girls put too much on, or they no the girl EXTREMELY well!

Very informative. But the experiment is based on just appearance. Which may be the first thing men are attracted to it certianly is not the all enculsive to mating, there is personaility, intelligence ectera

body plays a big part in attraction yes, but ultimately it has NOTHING to do with love.
I have alot of male friends and I have asked all of them - what is the most attractive and sexy quality a woman can have? ALL of them gave the same answer - self confidence.
If it doesn't look better then they applied the cosmetics wrong.
