I saw Mr Appice when he was touring with Beck Bogart and Appice . that was one fantastic concert
If you’ve never heard BBA - Beck, Bogert and Appice….check em out! You’ll be glad you did!
Very superstitious
I miss Timothy Bogert. He was so great, and of course, we all miss Jeff Beck.
My 2 favorites of all time . I’ve had the privilege of meeting Carmine years ago when I was Drum Tech . Met him the The Country Club in Los Angeles area . What a great guy he bought me a Moose Head beer 🍻
As a teen in NJ in the '60s,my sister was a singer in girl trio. They played the ChooChoo club in Garfield.A band was playing there called The Pidgeons. My sis told me they changed their name to Vanilla Fudge.Fast forward to a couple of years ago,The Rascals(NJ boys) played on morning Fox and Friends.I was expecting to see Dino Dinelli on drums, but Appice was playing drums ...Those Jersey boys stick together. Also RIP Dino.
Carmine appice books were fabulous texts
Thank you Ted
I was friends with Manny Charlton ( Nazareth guitarist) for many years till he passed in 2022. I had set up 22 gigs during the summer of 2008. ---- Hey Uncle Ted, you may remember Manny on tour in 2008 as he was playing at the same venue as you were .
The drummer broke one of his sticks in the middle of a song. One of your guys praised him for pulling it off the song without missing a beat.
Sometime between 2008 to 2018 Manny made several CDs. Tim Bogert played on one of them, can not remember which one but it might have been The Fluffy Jackets.
I have several Vanilla Fudge albums and Jim McCarty gave me some Cactus CDs. Of course I am a fan of McCarty and have Rockets and Mitch Ryder, Mystery Train, plus some guest apperances on other CDs.
1975 Birmingham Alabama,, Nazareth and Deep Purple,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,1977 Mobile Alabama Nazareth and Ted Nugent
@@markgray6982 - You do know that Roger Glover was a big help for Nazareth. Matter of fact, pretty much everything that Manny learned was from Glover. That is why the best Nazareth albums produced by Mannny. I even had a chance to talk to Glover. (Yes Manny and Glover were still talking during the 2000s) - BTW, while I am thinking about it, I know Manny was good friends with Ian Gillan.
Anyway, I can see Deep Purple and Nazareth shows being wonderful!! I can see Nazareth and Ted as a great line up too. I think the last time Mannygot to play the same stage with Ted was 2008
Manny was great to here live
This Amazing Uncle Ted ✊😎

Timothy Bogert's bass solo on Take Me For A Little While knocked me out.

Carmine played at The Federated Group in West Los Angeles where I worked many moons ago. He was amazing to watch. I still have his autographed photo that he gave me.

Carmine and Vinny two of my favorite drummer's. 👍👍
I saw you at Greens Pavilion at Devils lake in Michigan when you were with the Amboy Dukes. You wore a Indian costume!
This is EPIC in 2024 music scene .
Love it .. Big Thanks Uncle Ted .
Carmine❤❤❤
For a long time, I only paid attention to what bands were in town; that was late '60's-early '70's. I had no idea what some of these tour schedules were like until I saw one on the back of an ABB T-shirt that I bought while at at show at Darien Lake, NY. As I remember, it was well over 200 shows that year. WORK!
In the early days after the Amboy Dukes split up and the band Ted Nugent started with Cliff Davis on drums & Derek St Holmes on rhythm guitar and Harmony vocals with bass player Rob Grange they toured for some years over 300+ days a year Ted was saying with only a couple weeks off & not many bands back then had touring schedules like that .
I met Carmin with Ted back in 1982,,,,,,,,,i was talking to him backstage on a concrete floor,,,,,,,i was looking him in the eye while he was talking and he was talking and doing something with the drum sticks,,,,,,,i took my eye's off his eye's to see what he was doing,,,,he was talking to me while throwing the drum sticks off the concrete floor catching them in his hands and bouncing them back on the floor and back into his Hands while his eye's were on my eye's,,,,,,,,,Damn,,,,,,,,,That was awesome !!!!!!!!!! and very very very Talented !!!!!!!!
I still got your Drum stick Carmin !!!!!!
I freaking love Carmine! Like Ted,he's the real damn deal.
Nice Rocks!!!
‘🎵🎭 ‘Vanilla Fudge ‘ an epic and unique band from the ‘old ‘neighborhood. !!! 🥊🥊📻😎💯
Carmine is the real deal!! Totally bad-ass in Blue Murder!
Ted Nugent, we need your help to rally pro-Trump celebrities and musicians for a powerful fundraising concert or impactful commercials.
Your influence can unite high-profile supporters and celebrities and amplify our message to ensure a strong showing for Trump. What do you think?
That's a great idea!
Wow!
Uncle Ted, you are my father figure, I really look up to you every since I was fourteen years old.
🫵TED 🇺🇸
One of my favorite drummers I had his drumming book when I learned to first play my drums awesome uncle Ted👍🏻💯
Ahhh the 70's best time to be a teenager all the coolest superb bands , every time I hear Stranglehold , I am transported back to those awesome times , thank you Uncle Ted I love ya .I still prefer 70s Aerosmith, they rocked hard in those days , The Stones , Lynyrd Skynyrd not this Skynyrd cover band , but the real deal .The Eagles I really dig Joe Walsh , Z.Z Top , Montrose , Alice Cooper, Thin Lizzy, Ahh man the list goes on and on ✝️🧂🪖🇺🇸 ✌️
I hear ya about Skynyrd. Nothing saddens me more than when a group refuses to allow a legendary legacy to rest in peace. It's over. Move on. That's Rock n Roll. Ozzy told Tony Iommi once, and I quote: "I doesn't matter if you have Dio or Pavarotti in the lineup, it won't be Sabbath. Don't belittle that band Tony, move on." Although, I DO disagree about Dio though, but I get his point. Even Ozzy himself, at the time, was very self-conscious about how good Sabbath was with Dio. And he LOATHED having to compete with them. Ozzy's ace in the hole was Randy Rhoads of course, so everything worked out. But THATS RARE in a situation like that.
