Crazy man. They say, or I've heard it said: " the closer to death the better the high". And that is what we are all searching for. That one ultimate rush that will take us home. Whether we knew it or not at the time. Crazy indeed.
I would speedball and actually pray that it WOULD be my last time. I did drugs as a means to a slow, enjoyable death. Little did I know that I'd actually make it and that the aftermath would be even worse than what I ever imagined I'd end up like
Damn is that a fact and relatable. I know what you mean. I wanted to die a lot but didn't want to go out that way cause then my family would find me. I can totally relate. Why was the damage so much worse? How are you doing now?
Yep, I been there speedballing. I used Crack and heroine and had to mix vinegar with the Crack to break it back down. I actually used to say that either I was gonna get high or die trying. And if I die I won't have to deal with addiction anymore. Been clean for almost 2 months. I'm on nys parole as and had to do 4 1/2 years to clean my act up. It's a c crazy habit though. I pushed it to the limit and nearly died many times. Thank you for your content

@@Soberdogs thank you, I was in Mohawk, Mid state, Cape Vincent, Clinton Anex, Collins, and I've hit every reception from Wende, Almira, Downstate, Water Town, and Alster. I was in from 16 to 2020.
I can tell you have actually been there... amazing, we all think it's our uniqueness that will keep us from ending up addicted...but we are all pretty much the same.
Hit the nail on the head. I was always the one who spoke actively against hard drugs, then became a full blown junky later on

I resonate with that. I never did coke or heroin but I have struggled and still struggle with (strange) addictions. I have almost killed myself so many times on diphenhydramine going thru that same roller coaster that soberdogs mentions in this video. A decade ago I was addicted to ecstasy for maybe 7 or 8 weeks but that pales in comparison to some of the scary shit I went thru later in life. PCP bath salts omg I wish I didn't enjoy unpleasant trips so much. Been a new Yorker for a bit but grew up in Seattle pretty well off you would think I knew better....

Great video, i noticed you put a little more work in the intro they really make the viewers get a little more general overview what the video is about in an more entertaining and intense way, its great for those new on the Channel are people who never been in an addiction or known anyone as the explaining is probally more boring to them than me for examble keep up the good work bro youre doing great and happy clean time

Hey Bro thats so true! I never injected but with the OP’s i would eat one after another so when my rush would hit sometimes I knew I was on the edge i’d be drooling all over myself and be doing the nod, as soon as I could stand up I’d go the bathroom and eat another of whatever I had. Sme nights I’d eat 6-7 40mg er’s.

Oh and could you give a shout out to my best friend I ever had and lost a couple weeks ago. CEAZAR was truly my sober dog!! With me through everything and never let me down, never judged me and always welcomed me home and love me even when I didn’t love myself!
