If anyone has claimed against their travel insurance and the claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently then please let us all know as it would seem claim handlers at the moment are incompetent, drag the claims out over months and don't answer the phone or reply to emails.
Before buying travel insurance always read the reviews for the company claim handlers not the brokers, you will be shocked.

Genki insurance has a good turnaround for claims and when my wife went to the hospital in another country, they paid for the entire hospital stay and everything directly and upfront. Nothing out of pocket

Genki Insurance appears to be German, good to hear you had a positive experience with them. Here in the U.K. we don't have that one but there are some well known companies and they are useless when paying claims, it can take months, broken Britain. @@TradGuyTravels
