I agree with you Sayre. The media disrespect is unfounded and ignorant. But historically the media always trashes the Broncos. The same media that always pumps up the Chargers every offseason. And generally they finish worse than the Broncos. I don’t get it
Yeah bro I think it is mostly ignorance. These people don't pay much attention to what is actually going on, they just see oh we lost Jeudy, Simmons, and Wilson. They don't look at the other roster moves or really analyze what we have done through the draft and FA signings and how they fit the team. Its crazy some of these people's opinions are respected with the lack of knowledge they have
Let the "experts" and the haters doubt us! Hopefully some teams underestimate us as well. One thing I know is Sean Payton teams play hard and usually smart football 🏈 so if Bo Nix plays like a 1st round talent the playoffs are definitely on the table
There were moaners and groaners when Bo transferred to Oregon. It turned out really good, and he and Troy were amazing to watch. I'm from Denver and a Broncos fan. In my estimation you got a great QB!!
I think that the Broncos are better this year. They might struggle at the beginning of the season as Bo Nix gets accustomed to the NFL but I believe they'll improve as the year goes on.

Watch Bo Nix be this year’s best steal I watched him play at Oregon for the last two years that QB is the best in this years draft by a long shot! Just watch how he plays and listen to Coach on how he talks about him. Not only is he a better player, he’s a better teammate and isn’t a crybaby who covers their head and won’t go shake hands when adversity hits and your team loses the big game. Denver is gonna be stoked that they got another Oregon QB don’t blow his first few rookie years like the Chargers did to Herbert.

I believe our defense got worse and offense got better, depending on QB play. You can't understate how much of a loss Simmons is, he was the leader of the defense and one of the best safeties in the league. I think we will just have to see how things go this fall.

Bo is a nice guy and nice guy's finish last is all I can say but I agree with you 100% Bo will be great just give him some time with Sean Go Bronco's!
Our run game needs to be better this season. More consistent. It will open up Paytons playbook and give Nix the best scenario for success

There may be a lot of unknowns at several positions right now, but I don't understand how anyone can think a Sean Payton coached team will be in the bottom 3 or 4 teams this year, or ever. I'm anxious to see how much those same "analysts" have to eat their words and adjust their standings before even the midway point of the season. This Broncos team has a much higher ceiling than the teams we have seen since the Super.
Great content! I definitely think Bo is going to leave a lot a people pleasantly surprised. My worry still is VJ. Honestly do you think he’s a decent DC? He seems so hit n miss from game to game. We shall see lol. If ifs and buts are candy and nuts, we’ll have a great season! Keep up the great work guys!
We still need a game wrecker on the D-Line. A guy up the middle who can push the pocket with consistency

@@LockedOnBroncos D.J. Jones was disappointing last season and Roach brings run defense help (which we obviously needed) but I would like us to either draft or acquire someone who can help with a pass rush up the middle because it will help our edge rushers + most QB's hate pressure up the middle more than on the edge

@@ericm011 yeah he definitely priced us out so I understand not signing him but I can't imagine why we didn't draft at least one DT or even sign an UDFA like Gabe Hall or Fabian Lovett

I think Sean Payton is loving the fact that the national media is hating on the Broncos , it fuels his fire to give the middle finger to everyone to doubted his ability to coach , his decision cutting Russ and his ability to coach a rookie QB to an elite level !!! I think we are better than last year. What might be causing the pessimism is the question marks about players whom we can only say have 'potential'. And as Mark Schlereth often says, potential will get you (coach/gm) fired. That said, I think what gives me hope is that we have a QB who seemingly shares a brain with the genius head coach and can run his system. Save for the loss of Simmons, we seem to have an increase in character in the locker room. Sean has his imprint on this team and that is encouraging. I will be putting a ticket in on the over.
I don’t think the Broncos are worse this year over last. We are in a place to build but we are not built. I think we could be a better team this year and not win more games, we will see. I wish Judy was still here because I think Bo would be able to take advantage of his talents.
Bo Nix is the right guy for Broncos Country. Bo has "it" upstairs. He does remind me of John Elway, watching him play and especially when he runs the ball.

They replaced all the losses with as good or better talent Saving big bucks, while clearing the bigger part of Wilson's dead cash. Wow! What an offseason.

Amazing to me the GM who cooked up the Wilson deal is STILL their GM! Since last year, Wilson made great progress AND Denver was paying his 2024 salary anyway, why the HELL did they not keep him. They could have had Wilson and Bo Nix understudying behind him at least until they paid Wilson's contract off. Instead, Denver is paying Wilson to play for the Steelers!
The national narrative is they can't stand for Denver to be the New Red Dress again , after we got PFM we had respect and people got sick of hearing about us for five years, so they have been piling on since 2016-17

Stidham arguably out played Wilson, and I believe that Nix is better than both of them, as a rookie.
One thing that I don't hear anybody talking about is Nix's low turnover rate and non existant fumble rate. This kid don't turn the ball over at all. You don't hear how her beat Caleb Williams!
All due respect, I have a feeling that we got the best quarterback in the draft.
Think about the last time we had all of those QBs come out of the draft a few years ago -- how wrong they were on so many of those guys.

I know people will say I'm looking at things with orange-colored glasses, and yes I'm worried about losing Jewell and Simmons, but it wouldn't totally surprise me if we're relevant this year when it comes to competing for a playoff birth.....I'm THAT pumped about our draft class.
We get at least 10 wins this year in between 12-14

You guys are younger and enthusiastic about the Broncos and sometimes you find it easier to swim with the current. You were all in on Wilson being a problem because Payton is incapable of adjusting. And the national media was all in on that. But that's what they do for ratings. The reality is Wilson finished with a 98 rating which is very good. He threw a good amount of touchdowns and few interceptions. Now that he's no longer a Bronco, and the national media is not nice to Denver, he's getting a fair shake as a Steeler. Who the national media loves since they're one of the glory teams of the old NFL that HoF voters worship. This is where I bump heads with you guys on objectivity. I don't think we got anything special in the draft that we didn't already have. In fact we had better. I love Sterns as a player and he could be very good. But Simmons was very good. We got nobody as a receiver that can touch Juedy. Nobody as a runner as good as Williams. Nix is hit or miss but isn't Wilson. Mims has great potential, and I believe he'll do well, but he's not Juedy yet. We can hope Dilcich can get healthy. We missed an opportunity to get a major upgrade at OT. And we added another pass rusher but we weren't that bad there. And he's not a Verse or Turner. So given the people chased out we're a weaker team until proven otherwise. But for this year given the downgrade at QB and need to develop WRs unless Dulcich steps up we'll be worse offensively. And if Sterns doesn't stay healthy we're worse on defense.
I’m not sure you’ve actually been listening to us, especially with your stance on Russell Wilson. I combatted the national narrative on him almost every day seeing as how I was in person in Dove Valley and the National people weren’t. I made various statements on other national shows that had me about the Russ thing too. Local voices are always going to be drowned out by the national screaming narrative
@@LockedOnBroncos When it came to the discussion on whether the problem was Payton or Wilson you guys went with the Wilson being a bad fit idea. The problem is Payton being incapable of adjusting. It was his poor use of his players. His predictability. The runs were he ran behind the least effective linemen. And not consistently using downhill running plays for his downhill running backs. He created a situation not too different than when Dan Reeves was in Denver. Where his bad design and play calling forced Elway to save the team. Wilson would have been fine is Payton was simply willing to adjust. Like really willing completely. I feel like he sabotaged Wilson.

Ever since Mr. B. became incapacitated, the Broncos became the red headed step child of the league, they should have refused to play the saints game with no QB , with no chance to win, all it was, was a chance for injuries.
